I agree with this - I am worried that someone else will hook up with Germany and/or Russia and get all friendly and start trading away etc. leving us in the cold. If we get friends first then we can do that to them

I agree with the "by sea" approach. We might trade for some of this, so have a next tech in your back pocket just in case.
