Resize columns in Domestic Advisor

Hello

Does anyone know how to resize the columns in the DA screen? Once figures like production or food start hitting 2 to 3 digit numbers the column cuts it off. I play in widescreen mode and have extra unused screen space and would like to expand the column width. Is this pretty easy to do, and if so how would I do it?

It's easy, hit the scroll button and increment column width there.

Wait, this doesn't work for me, what is the specific sequence of actions ?

(You can also do it through the DA editor, but this seems to be much faster ?)
