Resource question

This is very likely a stupid question but haven't seen it fully explained.


If I build a orbital unit with 3 petroleum I would assume it gets decremented from my available petroleum. When the orbital unit crashes, do I get my petroleum back?


Same question for things requiring floatstone or firaxite. If a unit or building is killed or destroyed do the resources go back into my pool?

I never looked that closely for it, but I'd assume it works like in Civ5, where you get it back.

Yes, you'll be able to use it over again when a unit is destroyed.
