Resources Gone

I just reinstalled the game, applied the 1.61 patch. I start a new game on the earth18 map. Entering the worldbuilder reveals there are no resources on the entire map. Not for me, not for anybody. I thought it was just a glitch, so I started playing. After revealing copper, I double check and still no resources on the entire map.

Any reason why this would be happening? I am not loading any mods and used a stock map.

Any help is appreciated!

If you're getting a map with no resources, forests, etc, this is an indication you're using a pirated copy of the game or a no-cd crack. Don't use these if you want the game to work.

Thanks, I'll just go back to using the DVD.


Update: That fixed it, and things are back to normal. Thanks again!!!
