[Ressources] Bison and Brahmin

Somehow got the silly idea to make the two-headed cow from Fallout. (Blaim Davidlalen and his inspiring and very promising postapocalyptic Mad Max Mod for this ;))
Due to elevated levels of radiation the Brahmin is the common domesticated farm animal now, while people will say "Oh my god!!! Look at that strange one-headed Brahmin!!!" if they ever happended to see one of our cows.

While i had the cow imported anyway, decided i could as well make something, that people might actually want to use... So reshaped/retextured it for a Bison.

Both are animaded and shuold work the same way like normal cows do.

Now we *really* need a modcomp which places different graphics from the same resource on different climate zones/continents.
 
Hmm chicken....:drool:

We do not have however any ressource which animation would make sense on chikens. And i dont really want to animate it from scratch.
 
I know im being pedantic here, but i just started playing fallout again recently and the brahmin's are BROWN *gasp* :P I dunno maybe your bison skin would work better?
 
Yea, i know they are brown, but i decided to use the default skin - it just looked better IMHO - more clear, while brown on brown you could hardly tell what side is the front and what is the rear.

Also i think the Brown Bramin in the Game was just a "neutral representative". Judging by the rate of mutations there, i am sure they had Brahmin in all colors of the rainbow :lol:

If someone with better texture skill than my want to make them brown, it's fine by me. I think Chugginator had make some cow retextures a while ago - they can be used on the Bramin.
You cant however use the Bison skin on it. The Bramin uses default Cow mapping, while i partially remodelled and accordingly rewraped the UVW on the Bison.

Combine that with the "Food from animals" mod, and just think..

We could have herds of wild migratory prey animals that could be killed for food , profit ,and production. Mammoths & caribou in the tundra. (We've got deer and elephants for reskinning purposes )

Zebra and antelope on the plains ( horses and deer - or the cows could become Eland )

Camels & sheep in the Desert ( we have camel archers and sheep )


Bison and wild boar for the temperate forests and grasslands. ( we have this bison and pigs )


Of course Wildebeasts and Musk-Oxen would look way cool, too, but I haven't figured out if there's anything close enough.... A pig with long legs and a new head?



Somehow mapscripts put wolves on tundra and lions on plains and bears in the woods and panthers in the jungle....

Could somebody adapt that code... and while we're at it... How about some predator polar bears on snow and ice?
 
I might use this Bison for my future American Colonization scenario.

Actually... Quite disappointing, that there was no Bison in Colonization at release :(
