Resurrecting NESes

All of us have had a favourite NES, or several, depending on your tastes. There have been many threads dedicated to establishing potential new NESes and outlining their important points before, but, so far, no one has opened a thread where people would like to talk about those NESes they would like to see again, because they were interested on them but, for some reason or other, their Mods had to leave them due to either lack of time or lack of interest. That's why I'm opening this thread, so that you can state which NESes from the past you would like to see again.

My choices are:
The World Turned Upside Down 2 (by EQandcivfanatic's): it only lasted 2 turns, but it was frankly one of the best NESes I've ever played. EQ should continue it, because it was quite interesting.
Another Return To Our Roots (by Crezth): it was fast, it was fun, but as time went on Crezth started to have less time to work on it and in the end decided to cut it out. We are still waiting for the Awards Ceremony in which Crezth was supposed to say who were the best players.
The D.O.O.M. Project (by Dreadnought): certainly one of the most original NESes I've ever played. For some reason he never stated, Dreadnought left and the NES died.

I would like to see Icmancin's future NES revived as well as the one he created shortly afterwards. In each NES I was having a lot of fun. I was the Germans fighting the Celtic terrorists in the future. In his second one, I think it was set in the 1800's, I was playing the Union of the Rhine which was also a lot of fun.

There are plenty of NESes that died too soon to list that I was in. Those two stick out in mind as ones I would really like to see be revived.

Truth be told, I have an alternate timeline possible for a DOOM Project mission. It'd require fine-tuning, of course, but it can be done. I even could revamp the old one to finish that time table, which would be very cool too.

Unless you have more than 24 hours a day in spain, i would not recommend TWTUD 2. The ruleset is too unwieldy and virtually impossible for a single person to do. I'd like to see bestshot's RebelNES ressurrected. That was a fun one.

I liked that Civilisation Fanatics Code nes. Wished it lasted longer than just a few turns.
