Return of Art Deco?

While the Gods and Kings UI/art style change was lovely, I always held a soft spot for vanilla CiV's Art Deco style, and it seems like Brave New World is getting a UI overhaul as well, to something that more resembles the original CiV style. What are people's thoughts on this? I'm hoping for an option ala BtS that lets you change menu background and possibly art styles to your preference.

At first, it seemed clashing how now the UI has copper-ish, dirty color on green, as opposed to the clean silver and blue from Civ Vanilla and Civ G&K, but, admittedly, it has grown on me.
I'm happy with the return to the more Art Deco like style, as I thought the Baroque details didn't fit the overall design of the UI, and seems just pasted over the existing Art Deco.

I don't like the main menu's background though - but then again, nothing is as beautiful as Civilization IV's vanilla background, and, in the end, THAT is what I want for Civilization!

I wonder if it has a specific name - it is certainly different from Art Deco...

I personally really like the new menu background. I hate Gods & Kings background with that beard dude.
