Looks like all hell just broke loose. A war between two of the most powerful nations on Earth? This could go any way, especially with Japan and Mongolia supporting China. Also it seems there is a possible war brewing in North America as well with the spilt of the American Survival Pact. Looks like a second Great War. Or maybe even a World War. I wonder if in this alternate history if there could be 5 or even 6 World Wars before a nuclear blast silences war like the one at Hiroshima. It is going to be an interesting NES.
I think i should also mention that NOTHING is free. I cannot just simply upgrade your army without losses unless training and upgrading comes in a trade like uknemisis did. (this is pointed mainly toward evlywarleader who is notorious for this)

Mongolia and Japan declare support China in their war against India! War begins badly for India as China takes most of occupied Shanghai. At sea there is a different story. The Indian fleet has defeated the combined Japaneese and Chineese fleets at the Battle of Osaka. Also Indian offensives in the south destroying settler caravans have been extremely successful.
Incan troops refuse to leave the city of newly renamed New Orleans. Response from NEC and Incan leaders are awaited.
Spain continues to expand but because of a streching of the army revolts are occuring with frequency among the African and American colonies. Generals suggest an increase in the army.
Thanks to an immense growth in population the Incan Confederation grows large to the south almost cutting off the NHC path of growth.
With the fall of Eastern Orthodoxy all Catholic nations are celebrating. As a benefit if the pope declares a crusade, then even if the leaders do not support it the people will fight anyways.
former enemies of the Aztec Empire and the Iriquois Empire have enter into an Alliance calling themselves the Pact of Native American Nations (PNAN). They have formed a new religion calling it American Orthodox.
Rumors of revolt are occuring in former Kenya. Zulu officals in the area have been hanged by mobs and most major cities in the area are in anarchy.

Any chance I could join as the ruler of the Aborigines? (Seeing as that's the only part of the map (Australia) not contested)
The huge spending on research was not creating many advances. Better bridge acratecture and road systems from some discoveries had made the economy grow slightly. A few new inventions had been made but nothing in the way of a major brake through. The senate had grown tired of the useless spending on these new technologies. They were too preoccupied by the sea.
The Senate was composed of 4 political parties. The Pax Romana was a peaceful party and held 10 seats, 1/12 of the senate. The "Tommarow" Party which controled the Senate untill 10 years ago, was into new technologhies now only held 20 seats(1/6).
Their were 2 larger parties, the Militant Wing and a commerical party. Both looked at the sea as a way to win votes. Thye commercial party said they would create more jobs for seamen, the militant wing said they would increase the navy. Considering 11% of the population was dependent on the sea for their work this was a large problem.
As a result the militant party held 43 Seats and the economic party held 47 seats. This near split was dependent on the two smaller parties for passing laws. The Tommarow party usually been split and Pax Romana for commercial.

One at the moment was an extension of the Navy bill. It would give huge amounts of money to the Navy to increase it's size. Enventually it came out to be a tie. The emperor used his tie breaking powers for the first time in it's Republican history. Being a militant he voted for the bill. It passed.

At last it was decided that the colonies would be able to enter into the army. As this was the power the new colonial troops would help keep the rebels happy. Also the troops sent to help the survival pact would be called home to help increase the size of the army.
The pope thought over the call for a holy war against china. The Catholics had seen enough fighting, there would be no crusade but huge funds would be sent to India to help the army. The pope also called for each catholic nation to help support India in its struggle.

I hope india will sign the peace, becuase your soldeirs are important more than ours! (espaicaly becouse we didn't asked for help, but you helped!) I thiank on your help, and if india won't accept peace, than we will fight togheter to the end!

A couple new things are being added on the front page.
1: population stat. Just an interesting thing that may afffect military sizes.
2: religions and who belongs to each
and
3: education and culture stats. Both will be ranked in this order: Bad, Poor, Average, Good, and Excellent. Both of these are just for interest and will have no effect on the game.
Also, different sections of the rules will be changed for modifications that have occured in the evolution of this thread.
IF you have time i suggest reading through the whole thread. There is much irony in many of the posts. Especially this line posted by Kennelly: "Dear friend Babylon,". Just look at what has happened. Now the Babylonians are extinct because of the Indians. There are other peices of irony like that in the thread as well.

We have once again become strong, and a nation wishing to invade us would get a bloody nose if they tried.
