Return to Winter and the Amurites

So I start off and start exploring the map with my wolf and scout. It wasn't until the scout hit that little mountained off area that the amurites start in, in FFH Age of Ice, that I realized it was the same map just warmed up a bit. Lore wise I though it was kinda cool how they use that same map with all the ruins of cities where you destroyed the doviello and illians and that small castle where you remember defending against the massive hordes of fostlings.
Anyways, what happened to the Amurites after they defeated Mulcarn. Did they just pack up and leave the area? I would think they would want to stay in there little valley atleast since it was one of the few remaining warm spots at the time even after mulcarns defeat.
 
They aren't there because it would open up more questions if they were there than if they weren't. For example how numerous would they be, how powerful would they be?

It opens up more continuity issues to have them there but very weak. So it was better to move them out. I also wasn't as keen to have the magic heavy Amurites showing up under AI control here. And it didn't seem very fulfilling for the Amurite story arch to have their story be that they killed Mulcarn, celebrated, the age of rebirth began and the Doviello came along and wiped them out.

Those are my thoughts at least.
 
They left for greener pastures. It's not like that valley was an economic powerhouse.
 
Yeah they kept wandering about until they found a place to settle down. (That's why you start with a settler in the epic game!)
