Ok this is my first time putting an experince down so go easy on me...
Ok so I played as Washington(my fav. leader) and i plaed against 18 civ on conteinents with one team per island or whatever. i was playing on Warlord and the only way to win was conquest.
I started out good, building like crazy, and I had a very nice economy. The only person sharing the island with me was Alexander. I had a larger civ tahn him and larger military and much larger economy. Time goes on, i become good friends with him. Because i like using Navy Seal, i was gonna be peaceful for a long time. well, eventually i had missle cruisers and what not, and Alexander only had longbowmen. so i destroyed him with ease. I had discovered the rest of the civilizations, realizing i was the only one who destroyed somebody. I was also ahead by alot. I was making +5000 a turn, and had $500,000. My military was small but powerful. I had small armies organized to strike any civilization within 2 turns. Each one had 8-12 gunships for the first landing, taking out the armies quickly and effectivly. Then i had the Modern Armor move in and take the cities. My Navy Seal would take out all the coastal cities. Easy as that.
Well, Mehemmed or whatever his name is was second in score. and we werent the best of allies. I had declared war on China and Sitting Bull alot of times. and he was good allies with them. He was also allies with Saladin, who shared a contienent with Egypt and Persia(irony???). my ally was Persia, who controlled Egypt. We created a defensive pact together. Well, as you would have it, Mehemmed declared war on Persia, and i got pulled into it. I was gonna make sure Mehemmed knew his place. He only had riflemen, so i quickly took out his costal cities and set up Stealth Bombers in surronding allies cities. Soon, my Gunships began to get damaged, so i pulled them back and let my mordern armor do the work. During this war, Saladin declares war on Persia and began to take out their cities. Persia was my second largest trade partner, so i sent my strike team to take care of Saladin, which wasnt much of a problem. Well, Mehemmed had 3 cities left, with a decent sized army on each. I decided to let him live, seeing as he could no more worry me. So we made peace. and i took all his gold.
Turns passed, and no one had been wiped out yet except Alexander. Most Civs were just getting into making Stealth bombers and destroyers, so i was a ways ahead. I took a look at the graphs(forgot the name of it), and i saw how much Mehemmed had grown. He was back on top. He had a military force that could easily wipe out my offense if he struck them. I didnt know if he had any Nukes or not, so i began to worry. I began to trade with major Civs and send them large sums of gold so they would ally with me. That didnt seem to matter to Mehemmed. He remembered what i did to him. So, he did something that caught me off guard. He Nuked not just me, but my allies. And he hit hard. My major military bases(cities with over 10 units) were all wiped out. He had to of launched over 20 nukes. and he used tactical nukes on missile crusiers(how did i miss them?!) I was pissed, but my military needed to return home for defence. But he stopped them before they could return. My transports along with stealth destroyers were taken out, and i no longer had a military. and what do you know, i spent all my money making allies. Great. Now i had nothing. well he landed and took out my cities 1 by 1 and that was the end of it.
