''Ewwwwwwwww'' thats what you'll be saying when you play this piece of junk. Why? because this is the single worst Civilization expansion of all time and I mean of all time.....even worse than warlords!
GRAPHICS: 2/10
The graphics in this game are quite frankly way too damn cartoonish! The new leaderheads all look like something off looney tunes for gods sake! Plus the cluttered combat animations don't help out in this category..... however soon you'll find out why the 3/10 I give the graphics of this game is pretty much the best rating that it gets.
REPLAYABILITY: 2/10
Umm what the hell went wrong here? I mean in this game there's really no point to starting a scenario at all. You play one scenario and then it's over and you come back and win the victory even easier than you did the last. Whereas by todays standards you can play the same scenario 10 times and there's stuff to make it more worth while...... not in Beyond the Sword, it's way too primitive for that. I give the replayability 2/10.
SOUND: 1/10
Oh no please stop the crappy music! The menu music in this game is so annoying! Not to mention the bad reading of the tech quotes. Nothing is realistic. The Dutch soundtrack is awful. Since when did you here clown jingles when ever a leader head is doing diplomacy with you? According to BTS thats completely normal..... ewwww. If you ever make the mistake of playing this game I STRONGLY advise you turn the sound on your screen off, because your neighbors and ears will surely thank you. I give the terrible sound of Beyond the Sword 1/10.
FUN: 1/10
This expansion is borrrrrring. There is no way to lose to those idiotic CPU's and the music as I already mentioned makes you want to take the disc out of your PC and snap it in two..... no two million tiny pieces. This game is pure boredom. at it's best so I give the fun rating 1/10...... bravo!
RENT/BUY:
Neither... because this game isn't worth three or four dollars to rent or the bad price of $19.99 to buy, just don't play this flaming piece of garbage and you'll be safe.

This is the worst strategy game ever. Don't play it... I can't stress that enough. I was ashamed of Firaxis after they released this terrible expansion pack.
