I noticed no one mentioned the passing of the woman who voiced Edna Krabapple, so I thought I'd start a thread for Simpson's fans who enjoyed her work.

She wasn't one of the main characters, but I think she was a strong contributor to the show's quality. She helped create a deep, realistic character that made many people laugh for over 2 decades.

Maybe I'll watch a few Edna episodes in her honour today.

We'll remember her over a sloppy Jimbo.

major character dieing off. Although I haven't watched really any simpsons after season 10. :)

Losing Phil Hartman was a big enough blow. Lionel Hutz was such an amazing character to lose.

Link to video.

Yeah, I watched a couple lionel hutz episodes yesterday. The Simpsons had better writing and voice acting by then.

I would love to see an episode where Edna dies unexpectedly and Bart is taken aback by the fact that he actually feels bad about it.

Their relationship is paramount, and it would be a nice way to wrap it up.

That's a shame. Her voice really made that character. Like Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones or something.

^Indiana Jone's voice in the Fate of Lost Atlantis wasn't provided by Harrison and it still rockeds.
