Happenings:
-In North Badustan, the General Ta Hun Kwai has begun advocating a preemptive strike on the Wehrmacht. General Tao has not responded to Kwai's belligerent remarks.
-In Black Water, the Baron Tirian has been arrested on espionage charges. It remains to be seen where it will go from here.
-South Badustan and the United States of Irea are both clamoring for access to the AC-1X Armored Car for their militaries.
-Eden has shocked its populace by instituting a massive draft. No less then 28 divisions have been raised over the course of January. Alyysiania has done much the same, though with some crawlers and mortars mixed in. Even the least perceptive dullard can gather that the two are about to rip each others' guts out.
Events:
- Kishlian author James Talmot has finally produced his great work - The Dark Wars - about a fantasy world battling a Dark Lord. It has been recieved with great fanfare by fans of his previous work, The Red Dragon. Due to Talmot's patriotism - he was a Captain in the War - he has donated $10 of his profits to the Kishlian government. Kishlia gains $10.

Spoiler:
Valeria was the great power that started the world war, and has ceased to exist. Now, years later, survivors of the war have decided to resurrect Valeria. Present-day Valeria is small and weak, lacking enough food to feed all it's citizens or such luxuries as plumbing on it's backwards islands. Despite it's weakness, Valeria's ruling class, the Hanz family, possesses great cunning and covets the power of old Valeria.
Valeria is a land of contrasts. Despite having great untapped oil and other natural resources, the land and sea is poor for food gathering.
The highest rung of the Valerian social ladder is the Hanz family, which you can either be born into or inducted into if you do great enough things for Valeria. The Hanz family can basically do whatever they please in Valeria, but they are subject to the family leaders, known only by the pseudonym "Vetriteii Hanz".
The citizens of Valeria exist on national fervor and...survival tactics of questionable morality. According to official sources, they really don't get enough to eat, yet survive and some even thrive despite even food distribution.
The lowest rung of Valerian society are the Carkers. These poor souls are merely unfortunate enough to not have been born into the citizen class, or having proved loyalty enough to Valeria to ascend to the Citizen class. Carkers aren't even counted or tracked in national censi or surveys(ever), have no access to technology, and are used as menial labor by the Valerians. Rumors that the Carkers are the reason that the Hanz family and the Citizen class have not starved to death are patently false.

What the heck? why have you taken our core territory from us? That is land is part of Valeria's core. Sky Daughter Island has been part of Valeria since old times, and you just come along and seize most of it?
Any fool could have seen this small island was ours. What will it take to get you to leave?
-Ambassador Hanz
To: Eden; Alyssiana,
You guys really need to either get a hobby, solve this peacefully, or just beat each other down.

Current Events: Last month, Valeria brought order and stability back to a small area on the continent of Aborinthia. This place was fertile farming land long ago, and things are beginning to improve. the Average food supply has increased by approx 25%, and electric power has started to flow.
The unveiling of the new AC-1X has proved entertaining for most of the populace, as though the vehicle stands to revolutionize infantry warfare, it's uncomfortable and slow compared to civilian car.
Black Water won't say what it wants to because it would trip the forum censors. Sharkpoint has the same opinion. The Free Cities want to know what kind of shrooms you've been eating so they can have some.
Red, you can't gain money from factories you built this turn, nor can one make money AND build units at the same time. By your orders, you'll have $2 next turn and 30IP.

The balance sheet has no in game meaning, I just wanted to calculate the equity of my nation. However given the Info on the Balance sheet, I would be willing to sell my nation for $435.60. That number will rise if my country gets more powerful, and fall if it gets weaker.
Black Water won't say what it wants to because it would trip the forum censors. Sharkpoint has the same opinion. The Free Cities want to know what kind of shrooms you've been eating so they can have some.
Also, Valeria requests a trade agreement with the Shark Point republic. We are close, and could stand to make much money from this arrangement. Our two great nations could prosper, and lead the world into a new era.
@AA: I would assume those are the NPC responses. Black Water and Sharkpoint apparently have no intention of trading with you or fearing you, and the Free Cities think you're nuts.
Because you win nothing even if you take them all? There's no infrastructure there. You'd be spending money to get no money. And those aren't colonies!
So you can either get $15/$10 per month...or you can get nothing or you can spend money to get nothing. All while I trade with someone like the land of Richard who seeks your destruction or the super freaky machine cult.
@Sonereal: yeah. looks like it isn't just the NPCs who are Axe Crazy. Ayssiana and Eden are going to go toe to toe and be the powers who sacrifice it all to teach us why we shouldn't kill each other.
The Wehrmacht Empire would like to open a trade route with the Trinity Islands.
The Empire will also reaccept all deported Diclonius citizens of the Empire, and would like to offer a 5-year NAP agreement to the Diclonius Commonwealth.
The Wehrmacht Empire would also like to remind the Diclonius Commonwealth of it's $12/year tribute for three years after the Eden War of Independence, as it is not shown on their balance sheet.
Would the following nations accept mutually beneficial trade route agreements in order to profit from the merchant fleet that may possibly be rolling out of Shipyards on Sreton?
Wehrmacht Empire
Lotus Empire
USI
People's union of Glistan
Regarding the last two, we hope that our nations can set aside past differences, as Irea is more than large enough for all 3 of us. Hopefully, once the Edenian Wa rof rebellion is concluded, our three nations may come together diplomatically to ensure war never touches the shores of Irea ever again. We think that this trade route, which will benefit both of us, is a great place to start building better relations.
