I'm afraid you'll have to dicuss that with the Perseus Herodotus translator. I just copied abnd pasted it from there.

Chapter 9

Chapter 9 : the Invasion of Europe -pt 1.

The vacant throne was empty, yet the throne hall filled to the brim. After a reign of twenty-eight years as Padishah emperor, a whole generation. After another generation as Spahbod of the armies of Democracies, as conqueror of Axum and China, Darius had been buried in his ornamental and grand tomb just outside the regional centre of Pathragada, near the metropolis of Parsa. The tomb of Darius was the largest of the world, larger than the pyramids and more outstretched than the tomb of Qin Shi-Huang. It was only fitting for a man of his stature. Darius had grown very old, out-living his three sons. To make sure his successor would rule a long time and would be a good emperor himself, he had appointed his heir himself. He choose his great-grandson Faykan. Faykan was only nineteen at the moment of his Coronation now, but already glimpses could be seen of what monumental acts he would do. A bit hesitant crown-prince faykan stepped for the empty throne. A priest of Ahura Mazda, the old faith, stepped forward. Long had Zoroastrianism prevailed in Persia, until it was replaced by Islam. But Darius had openly practised the Old Faith, bringing Zoroastrianism again into prominence. The priest begun to speak: “Faykan, son of Hystaspes, son of Xerxes, son of Darius, do you promise to defend the realm of Iran and it’s people against all danger, both internal and external?” “Yes, I promise.” Faykan said, almost whispering. “Do you accept the responsibilities and duties that go with this crown?” “Yes, I do.” “Then I crown you Padishah emperor Faykan I, Light of the Aryans, protector of the Sacred Fire, emperor of China, emperor of ...” After summing up all the Royal titles, the priest of Ahura Mazda placed the crown on the head of the kneeled Faykan. “Arise, emperor Faykan!”He stood up and the audience cheered...

Faykan’s first deed as emperor was to call together his military staff. They were ordered to make up plans to end the threat of Christian extremism forever. The only solution, they concluded, was the complete conquest of the European continent and to banish all Christians to Ahriman. They made a plan for the first step of that invasion, calling it operation Mare Nostrum.

By 1946 the principles of Fission were figured out, now the science section of Persia started to look into armoured warfare, with all those guns cavalry became hopelessly outdated. Military matters were the destruction of the British forces near Yasmin by the Imperial Air Force and some minor skirmishes.

Two years later, with an airforce of 20 bomber squadrons the signal was given to attack. The city of Veii, home of the Roman navy, surrendered without a fight, it was renamed Mehmed. Brunsdisium didn’t. Faykan and his personal army had to be summoned to deal with it. It fell and was renamed Rhagai. The British expanded their alliance with the Zulu, but the emperor was convinced the Zulu land was useless compared to Europe, so they had no priority.

By 1950 the I.A.F. rebased itself from Dara to Carthage, they were now in range of for the second step of Mare Nostrum. Emperor Faykan also made peace with the Mongol Khans, securing the eastern front further. He also ordered some forces to move to Antium to expand over the Caucasus into the Pontic steppe, the fourth invasion point in Europe. The Allies this time made a more cooperate attempt to strike the empire. The Otanes II battle group was sunk by Carthaginian ships-of-the-line. Also a Greek knight division and a Korean swordsmen divisions landed on east-Vairya respectively Java. And off course the landing party near Rome was attacked, but the attack was repelled easily by the armored cars. More threatening was the sudden rise of the USA, the United States of Ahriman, as a factor of importance. Thanks to the massive increase of knowledge they were now way more advanced than Persia. Faykan ordered to do everything necessary to fill this gap.

The knowledge of advanced flight, long the source of hegemony of the I.A.F. was sold. For giving up the monopoly knowledge of armored warfare and electronics was imported from the USA, and sanitation from Austria. The Age of cavalry was ending in the fire of the machineguns and the rolling of the tanks… Faykan told his scientists they should now think of combined arms tactics, to further improve the military. The attack on Antium was opened by the artillery, after heavy bombardment the army attacked. But they didn’t broke through. Even with all available forces the city wasn’t taken. But nine divisions of its defenders were dead. Faykan wasn’t pleased with the delay. The bloody Romans even had the guts to wage a counteroffensive, although unsuccessful! Also Dutch Swiss Mercenaries landed on Yasmin. It seemed foreigners really liked the useless piece of rocky vineyard.

In 1954 Antium fell, five Roman settler-parties were chained and put to work. The emperor, enraged for the four year delay of his plans ordered the city to be burned to the ground. Surely if they didn’t want to follow willingly, they should be punished. The I.A.F. increased the frequency of the bombardments on Rome even more, yet the Romans still didn’t yield. Also Spanish cavalrists were evicted from Illyria by the first Persian tank division. The Romans landed on Madagascar with three divisions of old fashion legionaries. Surely the three times outnumbered garrison could keep itself standing. And the Koreans and the Greeks evicted themselves from Persian territory by foolish attacks some time later.

Two years later the Roman capital finally succumbed under the constant bombardment. Faykan could now safely call himself Emperor of Rome. Both Imperial Roman cities, Constantinople and Rome, were jewels in his crown. Rome’s name was Persianized Rûm. Seville was next on the hit list. Atanarivo somehow become hot as Carthaginian and Spanish forces landed on the island to aid the Romans.

Seville was captured in 1958, little resistance was put up against the Persian colonial infantry. The emperor gave the city his name, to show how much he liked the fact of their surrender. The foreigners were rebuffed by the machinegunners of Atananarivo some months later.

The advance was pressed in 1960 with the fall of Guimaraes and Pisae. They were renamed al-Tariq and Leto respectively. Barcelona was taken some months later in a surprise attack. The City was renamed Abarka. Now Persia held all major Mediterranean ports. With the fall of Pisae the roman government fled to Cumae in Africa. They were now all too willing to listen to the emperor’s peace. On scientific area Marxist theories were received from Russian political scientists. With that the Padishah emperor ordered the capitol to dam the Tigris with a massive dam. (if they failed to do so they would be dammed themselves, according to Faykan) Expectations were the dam would be finished in 1974.

In 1962 the Portuguese navy was sunk in Lisbon’s harbor by the I.A.F. After pre-industrial ships their pre-industrial units were bombed. Especially lucky was a division of crossbowmen, who, after bombardment by 6 squadrons of bombers, still had sustained no casualties. Despite that luck they wouldn’t last. Four divisions of tanks had already been shipped to Iberia and now stood in Lisbon’s suburbs… Persian luck was the victory of a single division of Colonials against the fusiliers guarding the north of New-zealand, or little Vairya as Persians called it. New castle was captured and renamed Nea Agmatanu. A cavalry division was landed south of the city, near Carthaginian Hadrumetum. Faykan also inked a peace-treaty with Egypt, ending the third Perso-Egyptian war. Also the British showed they sometimes were capable of using their excellent espionage agency. They sunk the weakened Jerusalem I battle-group just miles before the harbor of Faykan.

In 1964 the Imperial Army took over Lisbon, only two tanks-divisions were engaged in the conquest. They proved their worth by receiving only minor damage. The emperor named the city Anuril, after his first wife. The Portuguese ruling elite fled to Evora in the deep south of Ahriman. The emperor meanwhile marched into Iberia and started to prepare the siege and conquest of Madrid personally. The Padishah emperor was angered greatly by the message of the failure of the dam in the Tigris, but the success of one in the Danube. “Damn that dam!” he yelled. “But they shall pay…” Parsa putted the wasted resources into the writing of a constitution. (the dam is at least not build on the British isles or so)

Two years later Madrid, now Irulan, followed Anuril. The remainder of the army besieging Madrid, seven divisions of armored cars and cavalry, marched to Oporto. Also the cavalry divisions attacked Hadrumetum, halving its crossbowmen garrison. In diplomacy the Asian tiger, Japan, was poked by Great-Britain to join the allied, the Japs did that but they also convinced the Mongols to break the most sacred of treaties, the Peace-treaty. The Mongols convinced the Byzantines that they should fight Persia again, they would surely win… The Persian constitution was written, it stated how subjects should serve the emperor and how they should live together. Also scientist had worked out combined arms tactics and now dove into rocketry.

On the emperor´s orders Eyes and Ears waged their lives to infiltrate Japan, with success. The Japanese army was large but not much worth, it was quite medieval. The emperor´s forces took over Hadrumetum, Harna, and Holwerd, Pathra in the Vairya region. Also Oporto, Roxanha, fell, concluding the first part of the invasion. Peace was signed with Portugal in exchange for Coimbra. Once the emperor realized it was a city in Ahriman he ordered the city to be burned.

Padishah emperor Faykan listened carefully to the explanation of the defendant. ¨I only took the cow because otherwise it would have been drowned and would have been of no use to either of us. Without me the beast would have been drowned. So I think that is why it belongs to me.¨ : the farmer concluded his plea. Emperor Faykan studied the man´s face and then said: ¨You have saved the life of someone else’s cow and then took it as your own? And with this case you somehow came through the court, the high court, the supreme court and now you have come to me. To the emperor´s decision, the last chance to prove your right or wrong, as is written in the constitution?¨ ¨Yes, I have Sire.¨ Faykan thought for a moment. He stood up to judge the man. ¨I, Faykan, judge you in my role of Speaker of Truth guilty of eating someone else’s cow. You punishment will be to serve into the army and to bring truth to the deceived people of Europe.¨ The farmer, fearing severe punishment, was gleeful to hear he got a well paid and relatively safe job. ¨You truly are Cyrus reborn.¨ He said in thanks.

The High Command of the military came up with the final plan, Operation Heading North. The Padishah emperor approved it, saying: “Execute it as soon as possible, and next time come up with a better name.” The generals could only nod. 1968 was not to the emperor’s liking. First of all, Persia lost for the first time in history an area they had conquered, to the “medieval” Japanese. Second was that Persia was once again surpassed by the other people of the world, they were more advanced and possessed knowledge of computers. Thirdly Britain dragged in China to the war again, making all the yellows wage war with Persia. No matter the disappointment, Faykan was certain Europe had priority.

In 1972 the legendary words were spoken: Ready or not, here we come! The fall of Innsbruck was perhaps a Persian victory, but morally they had suffered greatly. The once invincible I.A.F. lost three whole squadrons to anti-aircraft fire. The emperor named the city Artadur. With that done the forces quartered in Iberia marched into ill-defended France and the artillery pounded the Byzantine capital of Adrianople. This way the Indians felt themselves compelled to declare war again. After hefty bombardment the son of the Padishah emperor, named Cyrus after the legendary Shah who drove back the Arabs. Cyrus, as crown-prince, formed up his own Spah, the Spah Anusiya or immortal army. To his majesty’s surprise an Austrian destroyer squadron was sailing the Caspian sea and bombed Derbend. Also the Japanese raised themselves on the Emperor’s hitlist, taking Zaynab. Faykan wanted Japan to be bombed to nuclear smithereens as soon as the scientist now how to build them.

By 1974 fase 1 of the operation ended with the fall of Marseilles, Adrianople was stormed a few months later. The Byzantines fought valiantly against the armored divisions but they failed to counter the tide. The Byzantine senate fled to Ahriman, far away from the Persian menace. Fase 2 was a short and bloodless campaign, Lyons and the Rhine valley were secured in mere months by emperor Faykan’s personal army.
Adrianople was renamed Namirha, Marseilles Masan and Lyon Lemis. Attacks on Orleans and Zaynab were undertaken with moderate success too, but no definitive conclusion. A British battle group sunk Jerusalem I before the coast of Cornwall, it probably convinced the Germans to declare war on the empire. That or they saw the plans.

Two years later the Army of the Prince of Persia waged on attack on Vienna, slaughtering three bands of machinegunners. Also conscript from Vairya were transported to little-Vairya to anticipate on the incoming invasion of Japanese colonial infantry. The emperor also sacrifieced the lives of some PoW for the construction of libraries in Iberia and France, they worked themselves to dead, the price of defiance. The British sunk the Otanes I, leaving just the Allaha I cruisers as the sole survivors of the Persian navy. “Ahh, well…” The emperor responded “We were never really a maritime people.” Also Japanese samurai landed on Vairya…

In 1978 after another hefty bombardment Vienna’s garrison was weakened by three divisions again, but Persia lost one tank-division. Also India-Aceh fell to the full might of four marine divisions. Jaipur was renamed Ahecha and Faykan took the title of Sultan of Aceh from the dead Indian sultan. Indian civilization was now wholly absorbed by the Persian empire. Also two cavalry divisions were lost in an attempt to drive of the Japanese in Vairya. Allied counterstrikes included some naval bombardment and the bloody Jap’s landed another early-gunpowder-era army on Vairya, killing two bands of innocent workers . Faykan, outraged, swore revenge.

In 1980 ten more Austrian divisions were killed in Vienna, albeit at great losses. There seemed not be an end to the Austrian reinforcements… The emperor also send four divisions of armored cars, one of cavalry and one of trench infantry to Vairya to teach the Japs a lesson, he hoped. The Mongols pushed into China but Persian forces failed to repel the medieval invaders… Austria convinced Egypt that breaking promises is good and fighting the behemoth is even better.

In 1982 the commander of the I.A.F. was executed after ten squadrons failed to reduce Vienna’s garrison. Meanwhile students from the military academy had formed a new army filled with marines, they called it Sinbad’s army, Spah Sinbadha. Military victories in Vairya paved the way for Cyrus’ brother Acheamenes. He formed up his own Spah, the Spah Hakhamisha. It was composed of armored car divisions. Acheamenes pleased his father greatly by repelling the Japanese from Vairya. The Padishah emperor was so pleased Acheamenes gained the title of Prince of Vairya. A few months later the forbidden palace was finished in Vairya-city, Achemenes’ new residence. The scientists also invented rocketry and started to push for space.

After twelve years of bombardment by 25 bomber squadrons and 21 artillery divisions as well as countless lost Persian lives, Vienna surrendered. On the 2th of April, 1984, Padishah emperor Faykan rode into Vienna, the center of Christianity. It was a silent march. It had cost Persia much to achieve it, but now there was now army on the mainland capable of putting up an effective resistance. After the city was renamed Viheranna Orleans was blitzed, it is now called Asyaga. Also the Spah’s launched a strike on Paris, severely weakening it’s garrison but losing some tanks as well themselves. After the British landed a mech infantry division near Asyaga a French cavalry division attacked. The defenders held, if barely. The Japanese also delivered the means for their own destruction, the atomic bomb.

By 1986 the Persian navy gained another battle-group, Jerusalem II. The Imperial army led by general Faykan in person also took Pars. Marshall Putain fled to Ahriman to set up the French Republic-in-exile. Paris was renamed Hakhamisha. In the East the Koreans were pushed back further with the lost of their Indo-Chinese possessions. Cheju was renamed Singapore and Namp'o Daryamana. During the battle of Daryamana the grandson of Faykan, son of Cyrus, showed great tactical and strategical brilliance. Darius was allowed to build up his Spah, the Spah Darya. It would be modeled after his father’s, with lots of tanks.

Just before the new year of 1988 Japanese forces landed on Vairya. The Padishah emperor had lots it’s patience with Japan. After taking over Macau, now Manusya, after driving the invaders from Vairya and after reclaiming Mahshid the Emperor spoke to his Japanese colleague. “Give us Zaynab back, a very reasonable price. If you don’t we will come to get it. But not only that, I will rain fire from Heaven, Hirohito.” Emperor Hirohito responded with the now very popular phrase “You must think we are idiots!” slamming with the door and walking away “yes, you are…” Faykan muttered. Then he ordered his advisors to drop “fatboy” on Kyoto… The diplomatic down-side of fatboy was war with all but Portugal and a few others who were defeated, but it was not much of a draw-back.

By 1990 Achaemenes’ son, Khosrou, achieved his promotion on his own strength, capturing Berlin. Instead of raising another Spah, he founded a massive organization, centered in a pentagon-shaped construction. The army would be coordinated from here. Berlin was named after Khosrou’s pretty wife, Kalimara. Also superiorly build Russian T-34’s destroyed 2 weakened divisions of tanks before Kalimara.

In 1992, after a 48 year rule, emperor Faykan I, Padishah emperor of Persia, light of the Aryans, guardian of the Sacred Fire and etc. died in his bed. All over the empire people were mourning for this grave loss. Even those who had opposed him, were grieved his by passing. Faykan was succeeded by his grandson Darius. So started the reign of Padishah emperor Darius II. Darius increased the budget of the Eyes and Ears, they were now able to infiltrate Britain. In Vairya Achaemenes drove the Japanese out again. The Spah Darya, together with another two divisions of tanks were lost before Salzburg by an incredibly lucky Allied attack. The emperor escaped the battlefield only narrowly, losing a leg in the battle. Meanwhile his fifteen year old son Achaemenes Shakkad, gave rebirth to the Spah Darya.

In 1994 revenge was taken with Salzburg conquered and renamed Nea Shakkad. Also a second bomb was blown on Japan, if they wouldn’t surrender, their land would be turned into a nuclear waste.

In 1996 Amsterdam in Europe fell to the emperor’s forces. H.I.M. named the city after his 33th wife, Ganima. In the East Wuhon was captured by the Spah Sinbadha, under indirect command of the Shahzade, prince, of Vairya. He renamed Wuhon Fayla, after his 33th wife.

In 1998 Zaynab was recaptured by the marines and Kagoshima was nuked, yet still Japan refused to surrender, claiming the empire was nothing more than a terrorist-state. In Europe Rotterdam, now Aminga, and Hamburg, Hemera, were added to the satrapies. An attack on the last Chinese fortress, Kaifeng, was almost successful. Poorly the army ran out of bullets and had to withdraw.

In 2000 nuclear bombardment on Japan continued with the fifth atomic bomb, Zarathustra’s fire, dropped on Kagoshima. In Europe Corinth and St. Petersburg were grasped from allied control. They were renamed Koryana and Beltara respectively. With the end of “Heading North” the next millennium begun. It would be truly the millennium of the Padishah Emperors…

Chapter 11

Chapter 11 : the Invasion of Europe –pt. 3

Lonely he sat in his throne, Padishah emperor Darius II, third emperor of Persia. Thinking about the past, about the future. His people were first mentioned on Elamite cuneiform, the arrival of the Aryan tribes in the Zagros mountain range and the Iranian plateau. In the centuries after that tablet Aryan people gained ranks in the Elamite empire and slowly usurped it. For more than a millennia the Shah´s ruled the Aryan land. Always chosen from the tribe of the Persians. In three hundred years massive Persian armies marched into the Arab desert to subdue them. Shortly after that great victory, the greatest victory of the Persia of the Shah´s, the kings were usurped themselves. In a bloody civil war different noble factions united and assassinated the Shah and took control of the state. The Seven ruled Persia with their oligarchic republic for two millennia until 1832. The corrupt regime was overthrown. Democratic, Monarchist , Republican and other minor factions vied for control of the empire. Almost Xerxes succeeded in proclaiming himself Shahenshah of Persia, but he was assassinated by a woman named Farah. With that the Second Persian Civil war ended and gave birth to the Vizierate. A representative democracy with a hefty attitude for war. After more than a hundred years of continuous war the Vizierate fell into chaos and party-forming. And then a humble general saved the nation and became emperor. That was 76 years ago. He was the first Padishah emperor, Darius II ‘s great-grandfather. And now, he thought, I am emperor of more than half the world-population, commander of armies beyond reckoning. He stood up and walked to his war room, he had plans.

In 2000 the secret of space flight was discovered, Persia was the first to have brought a living being, a Vairyian devil, into space. The Padishah emperor said they should work on improving the tanks: “make them harder, louder and faster.”

One year later the oldest son of Darius II, also named Darius, was allowed by his father to raise his own spah after he took Graz and renamed it Fatimah. He raised the Spah Fatimah, and he hoped to fill it with marines to vanquish the British… in the East “free” China was subdued, the son of heaven dethroned and Kaifeng renamed Marena. Also Achaemenes and his spah were just a few hundred miles of the Japanese coast. His intention was to break them, if not by nukes than by bullets. Also berserks attacked tow-infantry defending Gando.

In 2002 Achaemenes landed near Kagoshima, to force the Japanese to surrender. In the Atlantic theatre the V2 (v2) “landed” in London, after some more conventional bombs from the I.A.F. London surrendered to the Spah Fatimah. The Shahzade walked through the nuclear rubble in his protection suit, wondering how such a small nation could have been such an enemy. In the East Leipzig and The Hague were annexed. London owned the name Ahrima, Leipzig and The Hague were renamed Lexana and Harmagata. Also Eyes and Ears infiltrated the White House. Their army was not much of a threat to Persia, the emperor saw. Even though the US B-52’s could bomb Gando from their Caribbean possessions…

In 2003 a carrier fleet, Dead-bringers, was finished in Jerusalem, now Atomics could be used against the stubborn Americans. Also the atomic bomb, the Count of York, and some I.A.F. ones reduced the garrison of York to infancy. After that Darius II rode with the Spah Eranshar into the city, renaming it Tabrisya. Also Middelburg was destroyed by some tank-squadrons on the way to Krems. In Japan Acheamenes’ armoured cars overrun the meagre Japanese garrison of Kagoshima. The city was burned to the ground, yet still the Japanese remained stubborn

One year later Nottingham and Utrecht fell the Persian horde . Nottingham was renamed Nochamara and Utrecht Urganya. With that the armies closed the circle around Krems and the Austrian empire, once the greatest enemy of Persia and still a great regional power.

Little happened in 2005. Some troop movements, like Achaemenes and his forces arriving from Japan. Infrequent skirmishes before the walls of Krems. And off course the usual massive bombardment. Or at least that it seemed to be. In 2005 the Allies undertook a *massive* counteroffensive, almost reclaiming Fatimah and Urganya, Greek knights landing in Nortisland, Little-Vairya, a Hebrew army approaching Egypt and B-52’s bombing Gando and Athanadur, Korea.

Despite careful Persian attempts Krems’ garrison did not appeared to be weakened. In 2006 the Padishah emperor, fearing delay, ordered the city to be nuked…
The army rode through the grim remains of the forests that had once populated the plains. The coaled stumps puking out as fingers, condemning them. At last they reached the city, the ruins. The Austrians surrendered without much of a fight. Their leader had fled with some settlers west to the Black sea, the demoralized and ill people told…

One year later, again, not according to plan Hastings witnessed the fall of a feared atomic bomb, code-named William Wallace. Hastings surrendered without a fight. The naval cruisers in its harbor were sunk, just to not give them into Persian hands. Nevertheless the navy-personnel responsible was hung. Darius II renamed the city Haergan. In the east a tank squadron captured the last hope of Austria. Their leader, Franz Haider, was captured and thrown into the sea, with stones around his belly. Resistance against the empire is not tolerated. With Austria finished the Padishah emperor turned his gaze to Moscow. His uncle, Achamenes quickly captured the remnant of the once mighty city of the tsars. He renamed the city Nea Hakhamisha.

In 2008 more victories over the enemy were made, but not at the speed the Emperor desired. Novorgorod, Santiago (always forgot that city) and Pusan were taken and renamed Nogorya, Cyropolis and Puraya respectively. In the battle of Santiago the younger son of Darius II, Cyrus, gained his stripes, founding the Spah Koresha. Also scientists came up with synthetic fibers to improve tank armor and B-52’s destroyed Athanadurs harbor. In Ahriman, the USA finished the Apollo-program and landed on the Moon. The Padishah emperor put question marks at that. Why land on massive rock in space in the midst of a war you are losing?

A year later Rostov was assaulted by the third son of the Emperor, Achaemenes. Although the city remained standing the boy was allowed to form up his Spah. He had no name for it yet. Atomically Darius II was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that the atomic bombs, of which the Ahriman 1 was the first of, did not fit in the Deadbringers (carrier). A bit pissed he ordered Kyoto to be bombed again. “That bloody fool of a Hirohito will yield…” Kyoto was bombed and subsequently erased by the Spah Sinbadha, yet Hirohito did not yield… Allied counterattacks were the (brief) reconquest of Haergan and the B-52’s who sunk the Jerusalem II battle group and the flotillas it was guarding. The Spah Sinbadha was now stranded on Japan. A true story for an epic; Sinbad and the 10.000 marines.

In 2010 Haergan was easily reclaimed with the aid of the I.A.F. Also Achaemenes the Younger formed his Spah Erepa. Because of a lack of tank divisions only one division could be put in its commando structure. It was enough, enough to capture Rostov, Rhomeya. The Spah Koresh began around the same time its conquest of Scandinavia, capturing Copenhagen, Kareya. Close to the Ural the combined effort of the Spah’s Darya and Anusiya led to the fall of Yaroslavl’, Jarona. The American B-52’s started to become an increasingly annoying thing, destroying many improvements in the Imperial city of Athanadur.

In 2011 Potatoe Head was dropped on Canterbury, Ireland. After radiation levels dropped to normal the Spah Fatimah marched into the city and saved the populace from some mutants. In the eastern theatre Bergen, Frankfurt and Yakutsk were annexed. All the Germans were now under Imperial control. The cities were renamed Cantabrya, Berya, Franya and Yaya respectively. The emperor also send a couple of work forces to the Carribean, the US airforce immediately sunk the flotilla’s but the workers had landed on the isle. They would quickly build an airfield in the jungle, safe for all but bombardment.

In 2012 the airport was complete. A bomb together with some Tow-infantry was flown to it. The emperor could only hope his plan would succeed. In Europe Emerita was captured and renamed Emerya. Also the I.A.F. and the artillery divisions killed almost the entire Scandinavian army. And a SAM-battery was finished in Athanadur, a nasty surprise for the Americans, it was hoped.

Padishah emperor Darius II was pleased to see the Americans make a big mistake, instead of bombing the airport with the bomb, they just continued bombing Athandur. In 2013 the bomb, Ahriman 2, was dropped on Houston, destroying most life on that isle. The armies of Persia also captured Trondheim, Stockholm and Toledo. Now there were only two non-Aryan cities left in Europe... They were renamed Torono, Stoyka and Mihramya respectively.

By 2014 the Persian army stood before the gates of Oslo, the army of Scandinavia was obliterated and now non-existent. The Padishah emperor, in all his kindness, gave them one last chance to total surrender. They responded with : “Your threats are inspiring, but we will not heed them, Persian.” The emperor questioned so much courage, or foolishness. He ordered the attack and continued to think about it. After the Russian army was annihilated and their last city taken, only one settler-party remained. When them was asked the same question they replied for peace eager, too eager. The emperor ordered those treacherous Russians to be removed... Also Persian armies ventured into the heart of Africa and took Pi-Ramses, ending the Pharaoh’s rule once and for all. Oslo was renamed Oreiya, Yekaterinbug Katerya and Pi-Ramses Pirya. The invasion of Europe took exactly 60 years and two emperors but was in the end a devasting success. The Padishah emperor now claimed the title Rex Totus Europae (king of all of Europe).

Chapter 12

Chapter 12 : A logistical nightmare

“Come in Spahbod Ardashir.” The Padishah emperor said after he heard a knock on his door. Ardashir opened the door and stepped into the Room of Maps. He was not surprised to see he was the only person in the room, except off course the emperor. On the massive table in the centre of the room a map lay. A map of the current political situation in the old world. The Spahbod was pleased to see almost all landmass coloured in goldy yellow, the colour of the imperial Eagle banner. “what do you think of it?” Darius II asked him. “Well, your Highness, it seemed all our rivals have been pushed to the end of the continent. Spanish Murcia will soon fall and Gondar is within striking distance.” “Yes, yes, I can see that too. But what is your plan to remove them?” “Well, uhm... I think we should just attack. Mongolia will pose a massive logistical problem because the country is severely underdeveloped. So if we want to take it, we need to use the fastest of units and the support of the I.A.F. I guess. In Africa the same problem applies but there we have the seas to be our roads through the continent. So, my Liege, I suggest we strike into Mongolia from Europe with a small but fast taskforce, while in Africa we use all other forces, even Atomic bombs to clear the jungles blocking our path, if necessary... Those places are really a logistical nightmare, the roads are bad or even non-existent...” The emperor thought of the idea for a moment and then answered: “Atomics to speed up the expedition, interesting, hadn’t thought of that yet...”

Just before new year Portugal declared, sponsored by the USA, war on the empire. The emperor credited them for their guts. Meanwhile the Spanish government was exiled to South-Africa with the fall of Murcia, Marhuanya. In Mongolia Lagos was taken and renamed Larunya. In the Congo an atomic bomb was dropped to clear the way to Zululand. Also forces advanced south through the Sahara to West-Africa. And a tactical nuke, Ahriman 3, was loaded into the Ahrimani nuclear submarines. During the allied (American) counterattacks that year 1/3 of the B-52’s was shot down above Athanadur. In the meantime the quest for a Galactic-empire could begin with the discovery of satellites. They now to develop computers necessary for a colony-ship.

By 2016 construction on the Space-ship begun in Vairya-city. Other events were the nuclear bombing of Washington and the destruction of Osaka and its mutant inhabitants by the also mutating Spah Sinbadha. In the Central-Asian theatre Ulaanbaatar was captured, although a brief Mongol reconquest was expected. In Africa Gondar and Khurusan were captured and in the Pacific Besancon added to the principality of Vairya. Ulaanbaatar was renamed Ulanyaba, Besancon Beya, Gondar Goran and Khurusan Kor. Japan still remained stubborn, despite the destruction of Osaka, the fools. Aulanyaba was reclaimed as expected by Mangudai. When the Emperor heard that meant suicide squad, he started to laugh. Also the Arthaga I battlegroup was attacked by submarines near Madagascar. After severe losses the enemy was repelled.

By 2017 the British had crept back into Europe with the founding of Oxford-in-Orkney. The empire struck back with the conquest of Birka, Beiruyt. Ulanyaba was reconquered and the Imperial armies continued their conquest of Central-Asia. Also word reached the emperor the USA had become a nuclear power too, they possessed three tactical nukes, yet nothing to carry them into battle.

One year later the advance continued with the annexation of Carthaginian Hippo and Sabratha. The Carthaginian government fled to Carthago Novo, a city donated by the Persian republic to them, what an irony... In Mongolia the regions of Darhan, Kazan and Hovd were taken. And the British were once again removed from the British isles with the destruction of Oxford. Hippo was renamed Hascudra, Sabratha Sarben, Darhan Dustan, Hovd, Hovadir and Kazan Kagarnya.

In the year 2019 everything was quiet on the Mongolian front(s). But not in Africa. Jaffa, Nicaea, Isandhlwana and Mpondo fell to the armies of Padishah emperor Darius II. Also in Tangayika the commander of the tank-division there, being there to block Zulu-incursions, turned out to be from Imperial descent, a grand-son of emperor Faykan and a black woman from Ethiopia. Although he was not given official recognition he was tasked to coordinate the space-program instead. His name was Darius. It seemed the Imperial dynasty had a little lack of male names. The city was almost as worse as in Egypt of old, with all the male pharaohs named Ptolemy. Jaffa gained the name Janhra, Nicaea Gordyon, Isandhlwana Kahusha and Mpondo Merovya. Also Mangudai recaptured Kagarnya...

A year later Kagarnya was recaptured. Persian forces then pressed on and took Almarikh, Almya, too. After that the Korean government in exile was eradicated on Taiwan with the destruction of a settler party. In the USA the citizens of NY were very surprised to see something flying through the sky. Is it a plane, is it a bird, no, it a tactical nuke, arghh...
In the African theatre Rusicade, Rusya, and Coventry, Corya, were added to the empire’s African possessions.

In 2021 the Mongol empire was brought to its end by Persian tanks. Shortly after the fall of Tabriz, Targya, Karakorum was stormed and taken by the Spah Hakhamanisha. The Mongol khan wet his pants and was decapitated. Also the Spah Sinbadha committed genocide again with the destruction Sapporo, after it was nuked by an atomic bomb, nicknamed “Sinbad the Atomic bomb”. Yet still the Japanese emperor claimed Persians were just terrorists. Darius the Negro, chief-executive of the space-program, changed the launch site from Vairya-city to Pirya in the Congolese jungle. With the site finished the spacerace could begin.

By 2022 the most productive cities of the empire started to work on the colony-ship. In the meantime the emperor made peace with France, the only nation that was not so arrogant as to demand tribute in exchange for peace with Persia, a nation ruling more than 70% of the world population. After another atomic bomb, Treebeard’s nemesis, was dropped on the jungle tank-divisions rolled through the burned forests and took Oea, now Oya. Carthage now begged for peace, and it was granted by the emperor. Scientists also came up with computers and proposed further ideas to miniaturize them.

In 2023 British Ahriman was destroyed, ending a sovereign England. The emperor had given them the choice to accept peace or die. They refused peace... Also the USA convinced Rome they had to attack Persia. The emperor was pleased with this news as it gave him an excuse to invade the Cumae region. And the dockingbay of the colony-ship was completed and brought to Pirya.

A year later Hlobane was captured by the Spah Darya. The emperor renamed the city in his friend Hereroman’s honour. Also forces were send to the Greek part of Cypr.. Madagascar. The intentions were clear to all participants. And the Eyes and Ears infiltrated the Greek and Roman government.

In 2025 three former capitals were added to Darius II ‘ citylist. Zimbabwe, renamed Zadaya, Mycenae, renamed Megeza, and Basra, renamed Capetown. Also the Colony-ships’ thrusters were completed in Shahzade and transported to Pirya.

In 2026 dust from the Persian tank-divisions buried all that remained of Zulu dignity. In a fabulous example of blitzkrieg, the Persian armies marched through Bapedi’s garrison right into Intombe. Zululand was no more. The other two non-Persian African cities were captured soon after that fateful day. Cumae and Valencia were added to the empire. In the great renaming session Bapedi got Behistun, Intombe Pathragada, Cumae Sybille and Valencia Valentya. The son of Darius the Negro, Cyrus also got promoted and was allowed to raise his own Spah; the Spah Negra. Also the Byzantines in Varna, south-Ahriman, got themselves killed for refusing peace with the addition of gifts of earth and water.Apparently dead was cheaper for them.

Emperor Darius now sat upon his throne as master of four continents, Europe, Asia, Africa and Vairya. But the world was not big enough for him...

Chapter 13

the Persian "invasion" of the America's

Chapter 13 : removing unwanted elements

According to legends after the fall of Sybille, emperor Darius II the Conqueror, some now call him the Butcher, paid the sage a visit. The female sage was led by the pagan gods of old and led him into the world of the death. There he was led by her, crossing the infernal river bypassing the deepest chasm of damnation and the dangers that lurk there. Much was revealed of the death to him until they came to place were the souls of those not born. There he saw the thousands who would follow him in his position of Emperor. His guide on this shady journey, the first Padishah emperor Faykan, told him who each and every one of them was. “This is the last emperor of Old, after him the usurpers will rule for a century. Only to be usurped by the very tools they used to topple the empire. The last of your descendants will flee to the edges of the old empire and fight a thousand years against the inhuman threat, eventually they will banish Mankind’s Nemesis from the human worlds. Letting it linger. For again a period of ten thousand years your descendants will rule mankind. Until they are usurped by a wrong-done satrap who is of your descent too. His son will rule for more than three millennia before finally ending the empire of Men.”

In the war-room the Spahbods were asked how to quell the rebellious humans in Ahriman. Rebellious in the sense of not acknowledging the Padishah emperor’s divine authority over mankind. After counting the votes the emperor decided to destroy all resistance. In 2026 the Spah Sinbadha almost escaped on some transports from Japan, but they were sunk by B-52 s. The emperor was by now furious with the USA. This was done by a betrayal of the Persian agent in Washington, Geeko, who revealed vital military plans of the Imperial Army. In response the military came up with a simple plan; Scorched Earth.

With the fall of Valencia Spanish refugees founded Zaragoza in Little Vairya. After some bombardments on Thermopylae the city-garrison was annihilated. This made the Greeks beg for peace, but too late.

One year later, in 2028, Thermopylae was burned by the Imperial Army. Zaragoza soon followed. A feast all over the empire, as Spain was one of the oldest and most long-fought enemies. The Spah Koresha moved on to Neapolis after Thermopylae and a tank-division valiantly assaulted Arnhem. Also an army count was taken, showing the army counted 285 divisions, of whom 121 conscript infantry serving garrisons duties. Despite of that Persia still had the lowest military service, with only three years.

Just before the end of the year Dutch colonials near Arnem made a surprise-attack and destroyed the tank-division. Also scientists miniaturized al required parts and then started to build big lasers to shoot holes in the wall. The emperor thought this was only a way to draw more funds but he give it nonetheless. More fun news was that all buildable parts for the colony-ship had been finished and brought to Pirya.

2030 began with disturbing news, from the middle of nowhere a white sign bursted before the emperor’s eyes, saying:

The emperor went to the doctor, but he couldn’t find anything. Luckily it soon disappeared and the emperor could read his report about the final destruction of a Free Rome.

In 2031 two more I.A.F. squadrons were lost to US jet-fighters bombing improvements near Seattle (Miami). Not much later marines took over Nara, renaming it Marata, and continuing to destroy the ruines of Edo. The Japanese splinter-kingdom of Nagoya-Hawaii remained. In the south Arnhem was destroyed by the Spah Erepa. In a gamble the Spah Negra was landed close to Boston. The Ahriman 6 was dropped on Niagara falls, but in reprisal US marines burned Puraya to the ground. Also the amount of POW was counted. A staggering number of 5 600 000 (50 000 a unit) was reported, almost half, if not more of, the population of Ahriman! On the diplomatic news Carthage choose not to break its mutual protection pact with Greece, but its peace-treaty with Persia. They were enlisted for destruction.

In 2032 Knossos was burned to the ground, Boston soon followed after the ICBM Ahriman 7 was dropped on the city. The emperor did question himself if the Spah would be bombed by the B-52’s or that they had been mostly disabled with the destruction of Boston, the only major airport in Ahriman. Time proved the Ahrimani (Americans) were cowards, they only bombed the conscript garrison of Athandur again.

A year later the Ahriman 8 and the Spah Fatimah conquered and burned the US capitol, ending the slave trade. The Spah Negra marched to Seattle and the Spah Anusiya landed near the Iroquois city of Grand River. Also the emperor disbanded the artillery corpses, the material was used in the construction of new factories in Hatra and Agmatanu. And the French founded the city of Grenoble in the Filipinos.

By 2034 the madness-disease of the USA was growing increasingly deadly, they send colonists to toxic and ruined Japan, founding the city of New Orleans. In the south Leiria was razed to the ground, while in the north Seattle fell. At the ending of the year the Emperor was so surprised that he almost fell of his chair, Japanese begging for peace. They finally lost their arrogance and demanded nothing from Persia. Despite that they were declined, they should had danced the right moment.

A year later Carthago Novo and Grand River were sacrified to Destruction. The Carthaginians still had a settler party somewhere, but that location was for now unknown. Also an Ahrimani invasion-force, with probably marines, approached Marena in the southern-Filipinos. And the Spah Darya landed in meso-America. It soon turned out that the Carthaginians had fled to Japan, founding the city of Cirta and that the transports only carried a swordsmen-division.

In 2036 airports were build in Ahriman, one close to the ruins of Grand River, to other to those of Carthago Novo. Copan was destroyed by the Spah Darya and POW’s were send south to contruct an airport in the jungle. Also Eindhoven was taken and renamed, Richame, and ten squadrons of the I.A.F. were rebased to Shaddam, to lure the US airforce to New Orleans, what it did. In the meantime scientists came up with a laser and went one for nuclear power.

In 2037 some destroyed cities were refounded, in such a rate that it seemed to be bringing water to the sea, but Darius knew this would greatly sap the allied war-capabilities. Also the Ahriman 9 was dropped on Salamanca and it then was razed by the Spah Darya.

A year later New York was grained to dust behind the rolling tanks. Tanks moving to Philadelphia.

In 2039 Haarlem, Houston, Palenque and Philadelphia fell to the Persian horde. Philadelphia was taken by the use of the ICBM Ahriman 11. In the battle of Palenque a distant cousin of the emperor, Achaemenes, was promoted to Spahbod and allowed to raise his Spah, the Spah Acheamena.

The new decennium, that of 2040, begun with a wave of destruction. Sagres and Evora, and with that Portugal, were razed. In Meso-America Chichen-Itza Tlatelolco soon followed and after them came Niagara Falls and oil-springs. Also four atomic bombs were transported to Persian airfields in Ahriman. And during a skirmish near Baltimore, were an Aztec settler-party was destroyed, the brother of distant cousin Achaemenes, Darius, gained Spahbodhood.

A year later the Dutch republic was ended with the fall of Maastricht and Groningen and Baltimore was donated to the flames. Persian forces moved on to eliminate all that was left of the enemies. Also the secret of nuclear power was revealed.

In 2042 Darius Ahrimani speeded up construction of the ironworks in Viheranna, it was complete within the year. His brother was victorious in Ahriman, destroying Centralia. He formed the Spah Nea Koresha. Two more US cities, San Francisco and New Orleans, were blown to smithereens by Persian forces. Other destructive activities were the destruction of New Inca Colony –the ungrateful basterds- , Tiwanaku, were Cyrus the grandson of the emperor raised the Spah Nea Hakamanisja, and the blasting of central Mexico by the Ahriman 13 & 14 atomic bombs.

A year later Greek and Carthaginian rulers finally gave up their rebellion against the one and only Padishah-emperor of Men. Their last cities of Cirta and Pharsalos were razed to the ground. Also Persian forces equalized Allegheny and Tenochtitlan with the ground. In the defense of the Carthago Novo airport Darius, grandson of the emperor, achieved Spahbod-hood. Instead of the buildup of another Spah, the emperor ordered him to build a new capital in Viherrana. To symbolize the empire was not only Persian, but of all of mankind.

In 2044 Japan was finally subdued, after 76 years of bloody war. Seven Atomic bombs were dropped on the isle of Japan in all those years. In the Nagoya was renamed Tonya. In the same year Teotihuacan, Cuzco, Tikal and Miami were razed. Miami and its tactical nuke was taken by one marine division, but only after bombardment by the Ahriman 15 & 11 bombs. Soon the emperor would rule this world, and many more, France reduced to nothing more than a grand historical park called “Earth before enlightment”.

Close to the end of 2044 Padishah-emperor Darius the Butcher’s plan for the future came into fruition. The situation was such:

Chapter 14

Chapter 14 : Padishah emperor of the known Universe

The Padishah emperor beheld the plains of Pirya. Once a jungle and home to a medieval Egyptian rump-state it now was a centre of Persian attention. As here, in the Heart of Africa, a massive colony-ship was being build. Its goal: bringing the rule of Men to all corners of the known world. The aircraft of the emperor landed. It was greeted by a diverse public. Mostly Aryans but also a large portion of Egyptian and a few from other minorities in the empire, even some US prisoners of war who were reluctantly cheering. It’s an easy choice, cheering or dying. As soon as the emperor set foot on the soil he was greeted by his relative, Darius the Negro. Despite the more tanned skin of the latter he showed quite some physical comparison with his name-sake. After a brief conversation and an exchanges of politenesses the emperor and followers continued to witness the yet unfinished space-ship. “So you say the ship has an enormously expansive party-lounge? Where are you wasting my money on?” The emperor exclaimed. Darius responded laconically with: “On a space-ship, sir.” The emperor didn’t wanted to make a fool of himself so he remained silent...

By 2045 Persia was well on its way to end the two-hundred year war. The Mayan city-states were put to a genocidal end with the fall of Tlaxcala and not much later Persian forces destroyed Denver and Detroit. Persia’s forces marched on, encroaching the once mighty USA. No consisting of only four cities worth mentioning and with a population of less than a 100 000 souls, pets not included. Close to the end of the year the official residence of the emperor was moved from ancient Parsa to Nea Shakkad on the Pontic Steppe by Darius the Distant Cousin.

One year later, in 2046, six more cities were removed to make place for “nature”. Texcoco, Mauch Chunk, Atlanta and Xochicalco were captured without nuclear aid. The Ahriman 17 and the Ahriman 18 were dropped on Ollantayambo and St. Louis before destruction. The emperor called it “making the flora and fauna more interesting”.

By 2047 the Ahrimani seemed to be kicked out of Ahriman, yet things were not such. After the fall of Bufallo to the Spah Eranshar. After the *great* victory of commander Cyrus over their swordsmen divisions. After the fall of their last bastion in the north. They were not destroyed. It had turned out they had made a secret base on the ruins of Groningen, and that with the fall of their last bastion they openly reclaimed the US stature... In the same year Machu-Pichu and the blood-stained pyramid of the sun were equalised.

A year later the US-refuge of Cincinnati was burned, definitively ending the USA. The same was attempted with the Aztecs in their mountain-fortress of Calixtlahuaca. Unfortunatly they too had prepared a hide-out, one deep in the Ahrimanic Jungle. Also the Iroquois were removed from the California, banished to St. Regis in the icy cold of Alaska. And further the Incans lost the city of Andahuaylas, and almost Quito. That year the atomic bombs Ahriman 20, 21 and 23 were used.

In 2049 marines thinned the defenders of St. Regis. Also the Inca empire was almost banished to their new-found colonies beyond the Andes. With the destruction of Vilcabamba and Quito only Corihuanyrachina (I hate that name) remained of the Andesite empire. To finally remove the Aztecs forces were gathered on the airport close the ruins of Detroit, at the estuary of the Ahriman-river. Luckily for the aging emperor Eyes and Ears infiltrated the Inca cities, revealing much that was already known. The Padishah Emperor by-now lived less on his daily consumptions but more on strength of Will, he wanted to see the space-ship launched.

In 2050 al went as usual, even though some disturbing messages appeared in all the PC and newspapers of the empire. Cori was captured and grounded, just as a few thousand square miles of jungle and the Iroquois nation of St. Regis. Persia’s armies, truly sick of the chase of those rabidly inhabitants of the redhead-continent, became ever crueller. They just wanted to go home.

A year later the Aztecs followed the fate of all the civilizations that had preceded them, except France, Tawantisuya (Incan empire) and off course Persia. The Incans lost the city of Vilcas and were now down to 30 000 citizens, the empire had 50 million.

In 2052 Vitcos was razed and the stasis-chamber of the ship begun construction in Viherrana. The other two cities of the Inca’s were all within striking distance, with a little luck, they would be gone before next year’s end. The emperor in the meantime got deathly ill, he was struggling to keep on living the two years that it would take to finish the ship.

In 2053 the Inca empire was buried along with the war. For the first time since 1824 Persia was at peace with the other nation. The war took off with the Austrian invasion of 1824 and ended with the fall Ica.

Once there were 31 great civilizations, now there were two. The mighty Empire of Mankind and the Second French republic, merely a historic park in the hands of the Padishah emperor. During the Persian invasion of Ahriman a quarter of the world population, 17 million of 70 million perished in the massive genocide that constituted the invasion. This massacre for ever gave Darius II the nickname “the Butcher”, but only when he was not around. All traces of human inhabtance were removed in the years that followed, the borders of the Historic park were guarded intensely. The Era of Many was over, the Era of One begun. At the end of the year the spaceship with Aryan colonists from Vairya left Earth to Proxima Centauri. The emperor watched the ship leave with glee. So as the spaceship left earth’s atmosphere, so too left live the emperor. Padishah Emperor Darius II, ruling 63 years of his 81 year long life, was succeded by his Great-Grandson Leto. He would be the first emperor of worlds instead of lands, the first of the Boro-dynasty to rule the galaxy...
