I am starting up a Rise of Rome PBEM. You need C3C and the v1.22 patch to play. Please post with your preferred civ and time-zone to play.
    Players, Civs and Turn Order.
    Rome: Tboy (GMT)
    Egypt:AI
    Macedonia: Drendor (GMT+1)
    GothsCalis (GMT+1)
    Scythians: Daddy-O (GMT-6)
    Persia: qummik (GMT+2) - defeated
    Gaul:AI
    Carthage: greekguy (GMT-5)

    Final Draft of Rules:
    Difficulty: Regent.
Customisable Game Rules: Preserve Random seed.
    Other Rules:
1.No negotiating with the AI on turn 1 (due to AI being stupid on turn 1 due to a bug), but human-human diplomacy is allowed.
2.No military alliances with ANYONE until turn 11 (for game balance).
3.No razing of any cities of size 7 or over (again, for game balance).

I don't want to sound patronizing by giving unasked advice but I must say the 4 minor powers are frustrating to play (they cannot really compete, I know, I played Egypt once in a PBEM) and they make the game much slower.
So "usually" we stick to the 4 main powers for human players in PBEM and let the others be played by the AI.

Oh well, the people playing the minor factions are free to leave if they wish. Do you, azzaman333 and Daddy-O?

    TBoy,
It's your game. I was hoping to get involved I some Civ3 PBEMs. I don't mind giving it a try. I am in a PBEM right now with six players and it is slow. I was hoping that having the head start that a conqusts gives you would speed things up. If I don't play this game I'll try to start another. Just let me know.

OK. You both stay as long as you want to. If you don't want to play anymore at any point, just let me know.

    I suggest the following rulez:

    1) No diplomacy whatsoever with AI the first turn, cause trade with AI is bugged the first turn of a scenario

    2) No alliances until turn 11

    3) No razing of cities or razing limited to ONE city per nation

1.Are your sure diplomacy is bugged? I've never noticed it. Could you give me an example?
    2.Any particular reasons why?
3.Good rule. Make it no cities razed.

    1) Which bugs? But what ever - I'm OK with it if that is the rule.
    2) Any reasons? But again if that is the rule - fair enough.
    3) On Razing. My own cities? AI Cities? Your Cities? Please clarify.
