GhostWriter16
Deity
In this game, you will attempt to defeat all other players, and/or escape from the room and leave the other players to fight
Here's how its going to work:
When you join, you will post your own stats. You have 35 points to spend on statistics, and the highest number you can have in a single statistic is 11, and the lowest is one. Here are the 5 statistics:
Strength (Increases your ability to lift things and inflict harm with hand to hand weapons.
Dexterity (Increases your balance and ability to use ranged weapons)
Intelligence (How smart you are.)
Search (Ability to find items)
Constitution (Amount you can endure.)
Each round, you will submit an action. Rather than having a concrete number system, it will be based on your statistic, for instance, lifting a boulder requires strength. In gray areas, I will determine what statistic is used.
The scale: You must roll at least the statistic in question to succeed. Constitution will rarely, if ever, be used. The higher the constitution you have, the more health you will have (Its not a multiplier though, so it'll make a significant difference but you can still win with low constitution, and making constitution high is not the only good way to set up your character.)
If you roll 3 or more more than your rating in the area- EPIC FAIL! Take opposite action.
If you Roll 1-2 more than your rating- Fail. You succeed in nothing this round.
If you roll exactly your rating- Marginal success (You'll succeed in SOMETHING, but maybe not exactly as you intended.)
If you roll 1-2 Less than your rating- Straight up success.
If you roll 3 or Less more than your rating- Maximum success with bonus.
Make sense?
Under binary conditions, you succeed if you roll at most your rating in that particular stat.
Items- Items can be hidden in the room, but you must look for and find them (Anything you want to look for will be allowed so long as it makes sense, WMDs forbidden) however, attempting to use an item you don't have auto-fails.
Powergaming- If you try to break out of the room or build something so powerful as to be unfair (Such as a nuke) it will fail. I'll be liberal with this but be reasonable m'kay?
Winning the game- If you kill everyone else, you win! Eventually, an opportunity to escape may appear, and by escaping you will be a winner though you might not be the only one.
Signups open!
Also, your starting stats are with you forever so choose with care.
(I've decided they can change, but not easily.)
Rolls will be done here: http://www.random.org/dice/

Also note- Constitution was not ignored, its based in your hit point stat, there is a direct correlation between the rating you picked and your health rating. You get 100 HP as a base for picking one and +10 HP for each level above one. Don't worry, it will more or less be equal in value to the other stats.
Signups will close tomorrow so get here quick.
