    Hello,

I just wondered if anyone else had experienced the game hanging at a set date?

We have a MP game with 3 human players and about 20+ AI (thanks to barbarian civ mod/revmod) on a standard perfectworld map, epic speed.

The game has run very smootly with very few oos messages, in fact I can't remember one? However we get to 1756 and the game hangs while processing the next turn?

We get the spinning globe icon and the little white message saying at the bottom, middle of the screen ...waiting for others... or somthing like that.

Does anyone know a way to advance the turn as it's killing us to know we have for once got a succesful game going with all 3 human players doing well and the AI keeping pace too.

Usually at least 1 of us gets a poor start and falls behind and we start again.

each of you click the minimap, it sounds simple but the same thing happened for me. this could be because of the stack-attack RevDCM feature.

Thanks cheesemijit, unfortunately your suggestion didn't work but in a roundabout fashion it did lead us to the solution! When we all clicked on the minimap.... holds breath.... nothing happened, but it did focus our attention on the little dot that indicates who's not clicked done and it was our favourite evil nemesis Sitting Bull II of the American Indian Confederacy!

He had caused all three of us (human players) untold misery throughout the game; attacking us, demanding we convert to his religion, demanding resources and generally trying to spoil our fun. Nothing had worked for him so far and despite small territorial gains he was still looking for ways to ruin our game and then he came up with the ultimate plan of just not clicking done.

Thanks to you though cheesemijit he was thwarted as we noticed his plan when looking at the minimap and one of us justed logged out, joined as the Indians, pressed done and then picked up right were we left off in 1758. We then set about him with sharp sticks we had left over from the last century and firesticks we had all not long developed by mixing horse poo with some burnt wood, soil and some straw. That'll teach him not to press done! :goodjob:
