According to CNN he only won 15% of his county and 10-15% for each county in his congressional district.

Wheres the Ron Paul supporters here? Why do you still support this man? Come election day are the 5% of you in the republican party who voted for Ron Paul across the nation going to just write his name down or something?

The 5% who voted for Ron Paul are kids, and the reason he did so bad in his county is because of that sad phenomenon of "not wanting to waste your vote". You vote for you want to you win, not who you think will win.

Ron Paul would have done better if more kids voted. They talk the big talk on the internet but they don't actually go and vote.

He kept his Congressional seat by a landslide victory today, don't forget that.

Why isn't Paul conceding now that McCain has locked up the nomination? His website declares that "Now There Are Two" (he and McCain). How does Paul still think that he is in the race?

lol, and?

Nobody cares outside that district.

Already forgotten.

There were a lot of people claiming that his seat was in jeopardy, and that the GOP was going to make an example of him by ousting him out of his Congressional seat. I'm outside the district and care and haven't forgotten.

Well, his congressional seat may very well be in jeopardy as you cant be a very effective senator and make a run for president at the same time.

@Civ... do you mean the primary for his own seat? Because the general election isn't until November. If that's the case, you'd have to look at the quality of his Republican challengers.

I do find the point of the OP to be humerous that even in his own district his Repub supporters don't find him up to the national snuff.

Dude's a rep not a senator, and I'm fairly certain he'll be fine.

Probably gave him more political clout.
