    Got it for tonight,

Would think finish settler, some military ( ie axes; not worried about barbs but crowded maps tend to get aggresive quite quickly) and then the mids and HG. we need to get to construction and HBR for phants and catapults.

Ele's are important to take Justinian (his UUs), but for now I think we can do with axemen to take bizzy.

I doubt we'll be able to build a reasonable axe attack force with our wonders plans (mids + HG 2 go).

If we get a phant army before Just gets cataphracts, we'll likely go after him, if he gets them early (quite likely) we'll go after biz.

I think Biz is a better target. It looks that he's pressed between Shore, jungle, ice and us  Well, that may be a argument to leave him alone :p

Thing is, AFAIK just is the only civ in our backyard, and I REALLY don't want a religious nut who is always in theo in our backyard. Also, since we block him off, it's likely all civs to our south will have one religion while Just has another. Maybe we should just hope for some lucky buddhist spreads? :D

I think we should stop call Bismark (am I missing a C before the K?) biz 'cause I get confused with Byzantium :crazyeye: how about calling him Germany? btw can't our ele's slaughter cataraphacts? barracks + stable = 2 promo so I'd say 1/4th gets flanking II, other 1/4th mix of C1 and shock\anti-archer promo, and all the rest C2. we throw all these guys against his army and raze his horse pasture, and then its just mop-up job for trebs, cats, and maces.

I really don't like facing those capathracts.

Why would we want flanking WEs?.
When we build our WE stack, we'll want 1-2 shock WEs, rest combat ones. Anti archer promo is ineffective.

Do you prefer me calling him bis? I will surely not call him germany...

well in general our eles will be slightly weaker than just's cataraphacts, so weakening them with few flanking-promoted ones will help us crush them.

Does the AI even build Knights? Haven't played against Justinian though, so maybe he does more than others.

AI buids knights, that is definitive. Even more if it is his UU ;) And Bizantine UU is one of those that we don't want in front of us .

BurnEmDown, please give the right save to Ad Hoc. If it is not possible, put the closest autosave.

A quick look round and the only thing I do is a little bit of MM in Moscow, a worker is building a road to the east of St Peters which should have been pasturing the sheep but its only two turns to completion so its not worth changing.

The settler if off to found Novgorod, its unescorted but where its going no barbs can appear so I leave it

The worker complete is S.P. and it starts a barracks

Moscow completes a barracks and starts an axe to defend Novgorod

Novgorod is founded, corn, phants and spices are in its first circle but i should have founded one east to get horsies as well :smoke:

Moscow completes an axe and starts the mids, the axe goes to Novgorod

Iron working is discovered but no iron is in our lands, Darius has some which we may be able to steal by culture. Start on Maths for Cats.

    Pretty pointy things!!

GE in 10 turns, settle or savefor HG

the state of our small land, cats and WE to visit our neighbours as soon as possible

    Time for Beer :lol::lol::lol:

another reason to settle one east is because it would make the desert worth 2f 1h 1c, but this spot is fine too :)

    ALERT! ALERT!

If you get an event that gives EP against someone, TAKE the EP. This results in a wonderful bug :)

if there is food there, it might be worthwhile...... but maybe a city towards justinian could be useful as well
