RR4- Spain on a lake..... Again :p

Got it,

Masonry-mono for judaism next,

I'd stick with SH for now i think,

SH is very nearly as important as oracle for the priest GPP. You'll want lots of GPs :D

In case the third head gets highest prio I'd agree to fox idea of changing imediatly.. In case we'd like to take the risk of losing another head for the upcoming landgrap (what we'll definitely need as we'll be late in getting settlers out..) we keep SH going!

:bday: TO ME!!

Onwards to the hydra,

RR4-Poly.jpg

In due course

RR4-Mas.jpg

Both Monty and Zara have bronze working, i think we need some troops

RR4-MZYBW.jpg

I've left the game one turn from completing Mono and two turns from completing the Henge, we will definately get Judaism and with good luck the Henge. any ideas on what to do next, i'm getting a little concerned about Monty coming over the hill with some axes before we have any type of defensive troops.

Well, let's cross fingers then :p

I agree with getting SOME military soon.... now that don't need to tech to get a third religion ( bulb GP for theo or Oracle CoL ) getting BW goes high in the priority list ( as well as hunting, HBR and construction... can someone say War elephunks? :p )

Mining - BW - Writing and chop oracle seems like a good way to go.

why isn't there a smiley for an elephant  :hammer::hammer::hammer:

I don't think we need to care a lot about mounty.. He isn't at WHEOOH mode.. So no need to priorize military too much..
My suggestion would be to build a worker right after SH, to get the pasture online first (+3 hammers --> 2 more from the cow and one extra 'cause we can work the wooded plain-hill) and afterwards one or two chops into Oracle. Meanwhile going for Archery and insert an Archer just to be save from barbs.. And keep in mind that we'll need writing for CoL!!!

Roster:
r_rolo1
Ad Hoc - just played
LKendter - Hopefully will give us good news and not a Monty invasion - UP
GreyFox- On deck
Thy_Spellcraft

The earliest I can touch this is Sunday night - I suggest a swap.

Ok, mr greyfox, I'll let you pretend that you're the SG leader :hammer:

Seriously, we need to do some extensive chopping ( look at our BFC ). BW is mandatory.... but the settler vs oracle... dunno. oracle may be too greedy :/

As a lurker

You're just lucky that it's bad etiquette to shadow SG's .

Even w/ no map trades/OB this is doable if you guys get enough cities on your land mass (or can chain culture to new ones across islands), especially since I don't see any rules against tech trades.

A cake walk, right? It's very easy to say as a lurker ;). Good luck.

Settler??? How about the Oracle first - I want them priest points...

settler = forget the hydra

When there are other cities than the capital, religions are next to never founded there...

Not never... the cap only gets a 8* demerit :p

P.S I forgot the 20* demerit for already having atleast 1 religion..... so it is roughly 28 times more likely having a religion founded in the new city than in the cap. Not impossible, though :p

Plus the penalty for having two religion already, I am not sure if being a holy city has an effect.

Nope, only the religions present (the more the smaller chance) and population (the more the better chance) matters. Plus that cap drawback OFC :D

@ say 1988

I already read that particular code and the main modifiers applied are the cap demerit ( multiply by 8 ), having atleast 1 religion ( doesn't make diference between 1 and 7 religions ... multiply by 20 ) and the population of the city ( it divides, but don't remember the exact formula ). Then a random number is generated, all the modifieres are applied and the city with the smaller number gets to be the holy city.

Like I said, not impossible ;)
