    Alright, here is the rest.

    Turn 6:
    Music Theory in 4. Upgrade a few knights to cavs. Load a cav into the army, can fill it next turn. Build Zamora. Longbow dies redlining 2/4 musket, MDI kills it. Conq. army pillages, kills longbow. Knight captures cat.
    IBT: Some motion. Lots of cav builds complete.

    Turn 7:
    Bombard for 4 hits at Canton. AC army kills 2 pikes at Canton. Cav kills horse. AC army kills archer on way to Canton. Cav retreats from 2/3 pike, 2nd cav kills it. Upgrade 2 more knights.
    IBT: 2/4 knight suicides on our MDI, promoting him to elite.
    Turn 8:
    Bomb Canton. AC army kills pike and spear, takes city. Cav army advances to Shanghai - spear is showing. Build Merida. Kill musket with sword army.
    IBT: Basically nothing.

    Turn 9:
    Cav army kills 4 spears at Shanghai. AC army advances there. Pillaging and moving.
    IBT: Dutch longbows and a knight show up. Learn MT.

    Turn 10:
    Use SGL for Bach's. Cav army kills archer, razes Shanghai. CHINA IS GONE. Next target is MAYANS.
    E MDI kills longbow, generates a leader. Leader goes to Madrid to rush Military Academy there. Cavs and archer kill longbows. 2 cavs die to knight, AC army kills it. Pillage some more.

    Settler should settle in place to give us wines.

    Sorry, I've been out of it with a sick family (and sick myself). Sounds like great progress! I agree with what has been done and we should probably turn off science now and just rush our way to victory. The landmass is so small that I don't think gaining rails will make that big a different. We'll just push the AI in front of our advancing tide of armies. Bachs was a good call but I am bias; I really like Bachs even if it requires an extra tech.

    Please use the MGL for the military academy in Madrid. (See notes in turn 10 above.) This will allow us to cash-rush armies with all the cash we will have now that we are shutting off research.

    I was halfway through turn 4 when my computer decided to die. I've been trying to salvage my stuff using a friend's laptop all day, luckily I got the autosave. This is all I can remember, I had written more than this though.

    I can't actually play until I get a new computer. Sorry.

    I'd say go ahead and play whichever you think is best. I would probably do 12 turns because by turn 7 I'm just starting to feel 'in' the game. But whatever works for your schedule.

    Phooey on the Dutch and their island cities. :(

    At +200 gpt we can rush armies about once a turnset. A few more cav armies and things will go more quickly. The other armies don't work well against rifles.

    We're making progress, though. :)

    Handoff Notes: Our armies are converging on Utrecht and we have two healed armies waiting for movement in Palenque. There is a sword army accompanying artillery to Rotterdam, which has the AoW.

    There are 5 cavs and 1 cannon on the Dutch island and we have 13 turns left on our alliance with the Hittites against the Dutch. It looks like they might be on the verge of capturing Groningen but I think that the Dutch have been mobilizing and I don't know how much headway the Hittites are making against Rifles.

    There is a settler on the spice near Utrecht to create an easier approach for our units to the city.

    Misclick and 4/14 army attacks Rotterdam rather than taking out a longbow. I decide I can live with this.
    Wake 5/13 army to kill LB.
    Send Conq army to cover.
    IBT:Longbow suicides on island. Longbow lands by Logrono.

    Turn 3:
    At Utrecht: Cav army kills 2 rifles, cav redlines rifle, cav kills rifle to take town and a treb.
    Cats bomb landed longbow, E cav kills it.
    Cats bomb at Rotterdam, get one hit to redline the conscript rifle, Conq. army takes it and the Art of War.
    IBT: Nothing

    Turn 4:
    Resting. Finally get army to island.
    IBT:Nothing

    Turn 5:
    Rush army.
    Advance on Amsterdam and Arnhem
    IBT: Nothing.

    Turn 6:
    Cav army kills 2 rifles, razes Arnhem. Notice that the southern Dutch city is gone.
    Cav armies kill 6 rifles at Amsterdam. 7/13 army dies attacking 3/3 rifle.

    IBT: Rifle and warrior land near Logrono.

    Turn 7:
    Bomb rifle, kill rifle and warrior.
    Army kills rifle at Maastricht.
    Kill LB near Amsterdam, rest up.
    IBT: LB suicides, doesn't scratch cav at Maastricht. Rotterdam flips.

    Turn 8:
    Cats hit 3 times at Amsterdam.
    At size 6, the rifles at Amsterdam die like flies. We take the city, and Leo's.
    Retake Rotterdam at the cost of one cav army and one cav.
    Land 2nd army on island.

    Turn 9:
    Load 2nd army on island, redline it killing rifle. Other army kills rifle. 4 cavs combine to kill one wounded rifle and a longbow.
    Maastricht is ours, the Dutch are gone.
    Trade for maps.
    Declare on Arabia.
    IBT: Ansar warriors catch a worker.

    Turn 10:
    Kill 3 ansar warriors, 2 pikes, and a longbow.
    Move a lot.

    This game is almost over. Nobody else has rifles, so we should make good progress. It is just a matter of getting the cavalry moved along.
