Rulers of the New World Leaderhead Pack

We're told in history class that German missed becoming the official language by one vote.

I'm afraid this is something of a misconception- the vote was for the translation of law, rather than official language. The USA has no de jure official language.

Your point still stands, however, that you were told this was the case. :)

Why not then: Celtic/Arthurian - Pilgrim - Industrial - Modern

After all, both Washington & the pilgrims were originally Brits. (...) Lincoln was from old Irish or scottish stock, don't you think, with that angular lanky build? Lincoln's folk would be more likely to be trappers/frontiersmen than Pilgrims; they were pre-industrial contemporaries in the new world...

I like that - in my mod, I gave Germanic/Saxon/Anglosaxon units to the Americans, for the Ancient and Medieval times, so a celtic/germanic appearance for the Ancient era would certainly be most welcome on this end! ;)

great work on Washington!

I like him but since you put the modern one in Army 4-star general uniform, I would suggest to consider two modifications:

- shorter hair (thus having better "military look")
- US letters on collar (see attached pic)

keep 'em coming

I played around with the hair, but settled on this one, its a balance of civil and military, and about the same length as US 4 star generals of the 1980s. I'll see about adding US on his collar.

I'm not too sure which Byzantine Emperor I will make, but I'd prefer a more positive one, Constantine XI's story is a bit tragic.
Justinian I or Basil II are on my list of possible Byzantine leaders, Justinian I's face is iconic, but I think a youngish Basil II could be used for most of the Byzantine rulers. But I'm a bit worried if I can make those crowns.

would it be possible for these rulers to come also in a pack as small units???, since the most complicated things are already done (head, dress, etc)...??? i think it would add some flavour to gaming...i asked this before, but maybe i will be heard sometime....nice job and also usefull for learning shadows of american history....
