Rush Limbaugh, Operation Chaos and PA..

I used to respect Rush back in the 90s. I do not respect this

Yea, he was pretty good when he was snorting the OC80s. Too bad they took his candy away.

Nah. They have these things called laws. In particular, they got laws against things like criminal conspiracies.

You have yet to prove that crossover voting is a criminal conspiracy. So I once again piss on Canuckistan "laws".

In many states, one is allowed to change one's party to vote in a primary, but that switch must be "heartfelt". Such a switch can be challenged (a few are, this is commonplace), but its nearly impossible to prove in our court system what someone was actually thinking in their brain, thus these suits mostly fail.

Remember back when the republicans primary was still up in the air, and it was time for the MI primary (I think it was MI) and there was a liberal talk radio host that was calling for democrats to vote for Romney in order to swing things towards him since he was seen as an easier democrat victory in comparison to McCain or Huckabee?

No?

Well, it seems Rush Limbaugh has gotten the idea himself and plans on taking it to the next level. He is urging republicans in states that still have primaries to vote Clinton and keep the democrats reeling from their own folly for as long as possible.

That sounds like something he would do.

Now, I ask, what do you think of this tactic? Is this whats good for the goose is also good for the gander since the democrats tried the very same thing ala Romney earlier in the primary season?

Or do you think its a dirty underhanded trick by the republicans?

Or is it simply extremely smart politics?

It's trash by whatever party does it. But it fits with the anything-to-win mantra that both Reps and Dems believe in these days.

How [can Rush's shenanigans backfire]?

They can disgust the on-the-fence, independent voter so much that the balance is tipped against whatever the dittoheads stand for.

So, all you people . .. .. .. .. .ing about Rush--you're for closed primaries now, I take it? :hmm:

Cash-strapped Clinton fails to pay bills

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months — freeing up cash for critical media buys but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small-business circles.

The rest can be spent only in the general election, if she makes it that far, and must be returned if she doesn’t. If she had paid off the $8.7 million in unpaid bills she reported as debt and had not loaned her campaign $5 million, she would have been nearly $3 million in the red at the end of February.

Well well looks like clinton is going down and its about time. :king:

Well, McCain doesn't really need Rush's "Help", because:
