Russian army didn't use those who you contemptuously call "mobiks" in Ugledar, neither in Avdeevka.
I'm sure we can trust the word of the Russian army on this one, they never lied when saying that they would not invade, would not send conscript to war, would train people before sending them to the front, or other myriad of points where they definitely not lied. It's all Western propaganda obviously.

Ukraine, on the other hand, was sending waves of mobilized conscripts in Artemovsk for months, which led to enormous casualties according to Prigozhin, who you just quoted.

They haven't been used in all actions, but they've been used extensively. Remember the video what, month ago that popped up here? Mobiks being sold to separatists to act as cannon fodder. 250 pounds apiece.

As for Pirozhkin, he's been exaggerating what Wagner's been facing for his own means. Like every other information channel. When he says he lost 10k convicts, he's most likely keeping the number down. And he'll exaggerate the numbers his troops have been facing.

Not to read to much into it, but this looting would indicate rather fragile society and possibly undiciplined Russian troops (which isnt a suprise)

It's actually the opposite. Ukraine continue non-stop mobilization and sending thousands of mobilized troops into meatgrinder.
While Russia stopped mobilization more than half year ago and mostly keeps conscripts out of action.

RDK (Russia Volunteer Corps) claims to be in control of N.Tavolzhanka village in Russia (5k inhabitants). According to RDK Russian authorities have not been in control of the settlement in recent days.
Spoiler :
The spawning of rebel units due to high war exhaustion may be the cause.

^^^ What is the significance of that?

Looks significant to me, not something that happens every day in Russia.
He was an officer and a former commander of an Air Assault Brigade that took leading role in the first days of the invasion in the capture of Antonov Airport near Kyiv.

Any progress in establishing what happened? (was there a ukrainian offensive, that was repelled etc)
could be the start of something

The 23rd and 31st are new brigades that the Ukrainian army formed this spring, specifically for the 2023 counteroffensive. But they’re equipped mostly with older, Soviet-style equipment including T-64BV tanks.

The Russians opened fire with artillery. Russian warplanes streaked in. Several of the Ukrainian brigades’ armored trucks got hit. The Kremlin immediately declared victory. “Russian artillery and aviation strikes neutralized the Ukrainian attacks,” state media crowed. “The enemy suffered significant losses in manpower and materiel.”

As June 5 wore on, it was clear the Ukrainians had opened a gap in a sector of the front near Novodonetske—a settlement that lies between Neskuchne and Vuhledar and which was defended by the Russian 71st Motor Rifle Regiment and 37th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade.

A Western official told The Economist the Ukrainians had advanced three miles, securing a lodgement into which they began to pour reinforcements. The T-64BV-equipped Ukrainian 3rd Tank Brigade was nearby, but reports of Leopard 2 tanks in the vicinity strongly implied other brigades were in the area, too. The elite 1st and 4th Tank Brigades, perhaps. Or the new 33rd Mechanized Brigade.

or not

Mark Hertling, a retired U.S. Army general, urged caution. “Those breathless about reported Ukrainian movement today, it is an indicator of growing momentum,” Hertling tweeted. “But I’d recommend—in soldier-talk—take a knee and drink some water. Take a breath, it’s early.”

I've seen tweets showing that some "Leopard 2" were actually AMX-30. And I'm expecting a lot of misdirections and feints before the actual main offensive starts. Don't hang on.

I expect Ukraine is doing everything they can to misdirect, confuse, and generally get the Russian army out of position. When they could do that last year, they scored big in their northern offensives. When Ukraine couldn't do that, and had to go toe-to-toe with the Russian army in the south around Kherson, the Ukrainian army took some nasty casualties and equipment losses.

Danish PM Mette Frederiksen is visiting President Biden in the WH right now; among the topics discussed, is how F-16s can play a part in securing Ukraine's security both in the short term and long term. They haven't divulged any details as of yet and they may choose not to for the time being. The Netherlands and Denmark have been selected to play a key role in training Ukrainian pilots in F-16s.

Deep Fake broadcast on Russian TV shows a Putin speech declaring martial law and a full war footing and includes remarks the Ukraine has invaded Russia.

Who benefits from that in terms of a military advantage? Who gets flooded?

The left bank (russin controlled side) recieves most of the flooding sinces its lower, as well as some the right bank (Ukraine controlled)
The islands which last reported to be lightly controlled by Ukraine are about to be flooded and underwater
It makes any attempt to cross the river now much harder, as river is wider

Given that the left gates of the dam were blownm it done by the Russians using planted explosives
It lookeds like a soarched earth stratergy to me

Russian war correspondents say that almost the entire first line of defense on the left bank and minefields will be flooded, and they blame Ukraine for undermining the dam. Also, Crimea will be deprived of water again
UPD. Local authorities say that the loss of water to the Crimea is not threatened, the withdrawal occurs upstream
Possible flooding area
