Russia Tests New Nanotech Vacuum Bomb On 11 September - Symbolic Statement

Being arrogant in OT is part of the parcel, I know you are, welcome to the nuclear family :)
I'm not so arrogant as to believe people should believe extremely unlikely things solely based on my say-so, without any corroborating evidence whatsoever.

But hey, do what you want.

Arrogance is only good if you can back it up - otherwise you're a blowhard. You havn't shown otherwise.

Because you have a undergraduate course in nanotech in some polytechnical US college, top 500 rankings, does not mean you are a specialist on nanotech bombs ? I will keep this thread around before I level you when all details are out.

Make sure you level everyone out with information and details that are actually newsworthy too! :)

I know you have, so you got a lead. But I do know a lot about the defense tech business, which gives me a lead to those that can flame in fancy ways.

Ah....that weapon isnt a defensive weapon. Just so you know.

I'ma thinking you dont know as much as you would like us to believe....

Specialist on nanotech bombs?

Me thinks you read way too much sci-fi.

Well, wait for the fully story to be disclosed, before you jump to such premature attacks :)

I followed one link from the story and got this. (bolding added)

Channel One said that while the Russian bomb contains about 7 tons of high explosives compared with more than 8 tons of explosives in the U.S. bomb, it's four times more powerful because it uses a new, highly efficient type of explosives developed with the use of nanotechnology. The report did not identify the explosives.

So, the bomb itself didn't have any nanotechnology. Calling it a "Nanotech Vacuum Bomb" because nanotechnology might have played a role in its development is like calling one of the US nukes a "Supercomputer Nuke" because supercomputers are used to design and test it.

Plus there's the question of whether this "nanotech" even meets the definition that experts in the field would use.

Oh, and this "wait and eventually you'll see I'm right" attitude didn't work very well in the demogame or parliment, so it's no surprise it doesn't work here either ;)
