Safty coppy's

Is it leagel to make safty copys of your games.
I ask becous my civ2 cd is not werry well eny more.
(it has bin used so mutch it has started to get rispy)
This copy will only be used if the orginal gets so rispy it can't bee used.

Soo is ti legal?

As I understand it, it is perfectly legal to make back up copies of software for safekeeping. I may be wrong, but I'm 99% certain it's OK.

Yes, it´s legal as long as you dont sell the copy. Atleast it´s legal in Sweden, and it looks like you are from Sweden so don´t worry, make a copy for yourself.

its perfectly fine, aslong as you don't distribute the copys.

Thats whats pissing me off about this whole piracy issue, they are introducing technology to make it impossible to copy CDS, which is annoying, because these new music cds cannot be copied onto your computer (thats how i prefer listening to my music), or played in some car stereos.
