Scenario Editing

Hello,

I have recently upgraded my Classic Civ2 to Fantastic Worlds by downloading the update from this site.

However, one problem I've encountered is that, when using the new scenario editor, I can't change the names of any of the tribes! The box where I should be able to type the name will not let me type there. Help?

Forget the scenario editor. Use a text editor, such as Notepad, to edit the @LEADERS section of rules.txt.

This really belongs in the Scenario Creation subforum.

@Leaders won't change your present save though. For that you need to use the old edit king cheat. Or when creating the initial save, temporarily replace civ's main rules.txt with the one from your scenario.

And yeah, the scenario editor is buggy. Using it can sometimes make to the names from one category of things (units, improvements, ect.) be replaced by the list from another. You can stop it if you notice it, but you have to watch out for it, and it's a bit of a hassle.
