Copy Bic into CivilizationIII/Scenario
Copy all Units and Units_32 folders into CivilizationIII/Arts/Units
If unit has LARGE and SMALL PCX Copy into CivilizationIII/Arts/Civilopedia/Icons/Units

Unit foldrs 1,3,4 have had the INI. file problem fixed.

Those are the primary terrain in the Scenario:
Plains,Mountains,Grasslands,Deserts,Hills,Forests,Maybe a few Tundra that I didn't see.

looks REALLY nice, but its complexity in download and set up will probably stop many from trying it, i would try it, but last time i tried to put new units i ended up re-installing my game :(.

So what you are saing is that people want a smaller download, which would mean on new units.
Wouldn't that be boring after awhile? playing the same old units time after time?
What do you think I should do?
I know there is no money involved in this, but I do like that people like the thing I made.
I still want that but I also like the newer units.
 
yeah no money involved, it would be cool if it was.........
i am not saying u should change it, is alright that u make new units, and i applaud u, i dont even know how to make a new unit, i do get bored w/ same units over and over again.
i just meant that it sucks that ur work is not as appreciated as it should simply cuz most people think that it would be hard and difficult to get all those new units on their computer
 
AAH I understand!;) not everyone really knows how easy it really is, once you get the hang of it.
Maybe putting some text in the post that will relay the easy way to copy the files.
Then once they have them they never have to copy fpr that unit again.(unless they loss all files due to virus or something that extreme.

BTW I wish I could make units also. I can get the understanding of making them but I can't get the BMP to turn into a unit.
I just haven't put in the credits to those units.

I took a TOPOAGRAPHY(I think it is) which I do Be..live is a map of Elevation? (anyhow) I had that map and a program called "BMPtoBIC" which taks a Bmp and coverts it to a BIC with a map of the Bmp.
Its pretty handy!!!!

EDIT: Yes it is a map of the elevation surface of Mars.
 
interesting, i didnt even know such thing existed......BMP to BIC.......i simply look for fan maps and borrow them, or make my own......the old fashion way
 
Great looking scenario.

I don't like downloading new unis cause of problems in getting them to work but don't like playing with the same units all the time; basicaly I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't (as Bart Simpson said).
 
I've also have got'in units that didn't work and that sucks.
But the units that I post do work because they are put through alot of Playtesting, and when I convinced that they work I will add them to the Final Draft Bic. Then once they do work you never have to download them again.

Civilization III has an error reading this file.
It comes from the Unit Cloud Car, it is a unit in this Scenario.

The .ini file looks okay to me. Did you check the spelling for all the associated files, to make sure they're spelt correctly in the .ini file? Sometimes I miss something and only catch after checking for a second or third time. :)
