Hi! I have Civ2 Classic, and I've drawn up some plans to make an English Civil War scenario. Just one problem- and that's the reason I've subscribed to this forum. I haven't a clue where to start! Not a clue! Please don't tell me I need MGE or something. HELP!!!!

There's an English Civil war scen on Civ2 downloads scen, but it's for MGE... maybe you can download it, then try to adapt it to Civ2 Classic. A nice effort for ya, Civ newbie...

Anyway, there's an upgrade patch for MGE in the same section, made by Cedric Greene...

Thanks guys, but im not a Civ2 newbie! Youve gone and insulted me! Never mind, I forgive you. Anyway, please tell me where to start, because I really havent got a clue!

ah...

You must start from the Cheat menu. First create a game using the map you need for that scen, then save it in his own directory ( ex. pippo.scn into pippo directory ). Activate the cheat menu, and you'll be able to place and/or modify almost everything about civs, improvments, unit names, etc. etc.
