This is what the Old Nile looks like in Civ5. That's where the Pyramids were built, the home of the oldest Civilization in World History.

This is the North Sea, off the coast of Norway. IRL, rich with oil and resources. That has been reflected in the game too. There are rich resources of Deer in the North Sea, but watch it for the Barbarian Camp!

This is the British Isles. Whoddya mean you can't see that? Look! There's Scotland and Wales and Ireland too. Clear as day. And that bloke walking on water is actually Jesus.

And wow! Extra land appears out of nowhere for England. Maybe all those soldiers standing in the water can now use this miraculously created new patch of land instead.
