This is poll #2.
This determines which path we should follow...
We will follow this after, the next tech poll. But it is possible that one of the techs in the path that wins the next tech poll.

Military Tradition Path
Theory of Gravity Path
Magnetism Path

For example:
If you want to research Music theory, then printing press, and then democracy.
You would vote for music theory in the other poll, and then vote for democracy path in this poll.
Or if you wanted to get to military tradition fast, you would vote for military tradition path in this poll and metallurgy in the other.

Which tech next

Military tradition! Cavalry is the future and plus we'd have an advantage over all of our backwards neighbors.

Democracy path

Democracy itself is a VERY expensive technology, if we sell it off to the right people, we could make some pretty good cash.

Democracy, though I disagree with the actual process, IRL (execpt maybe on local levels). :p

Since we're going almost certainly to new war(s) military is better now...

I voted OTHER. I think we should only get the required techs and head to the Industrial Ages.
We will be missing sime very useful techs then. We will not get Democracy or it's tech precuser Printing Press, or Military Tradition. These are three fine techs that we will be missing. I do agree with the sentiment of getting to the IA the quickest, but getting some not required techs because they are required by us for our use.

I agree that some of the optional techs are useful. I just think that we should get to the middle ages first and consider out optons from their. IMHO, The most usefull Military and Economic tech in the near future is the Rail Road. If we get the required techs we can use these to trade for the optional ones that the AI is bound to research.
