Looking forward to this.
There is however still no option to sort the cities alphabetically or by size. That would be good
And click to go to that city so I'm not hunting all over the map trying to figure out where I settled it.
Where's the YouTube version?
I can't view via Twitch.
It's been up for about 5 hours according to the notification I got from YouTube.
I would also like the ability to sort on any of the columns ascending and descending. Click the column to sort on it, click it again to switch the direction.
And on the Yields screen I‘d like to be able to collapse it down to each city (instead of collapsing the whole section) and then be able to sort the columns ascending and descending. Right now it is too hard on that screen to compare the cities to find the one with the most production, least culture, etc.
Yes please. And with everything related to the View Reports page in general.
It's a shame they didn't get to Highlanders in the stream. A 1 hour 30 minute stream would not have been unwelcome, but Sarah must have been given strict time limits from whoever was higher up...
Anybody has noticed somewhere the tooltip for this new notification? Perhaps you @Giskler?
And what did Ed say about city-states capturing your spy? Can spies only be killed in city-states and not captured?
Since there is no way to trade for them if they were captured it was just easier to kill them.
I keep meaning to ask on Twitter if there is a way to defend against the Envoy killer spy mission.
I have not seen that one.
I've finally taken the time to watch the livestream on Youtube. Here are my thoughts:
- I would place alliances along with governors as good ways to have my yields going if ever I don't have enough of them. Although I would be careful to choose my alliances carefully if I would want to get, say, bonus production.
- What are those white circles beside the religious icon in the city bar?
...and that's it. To be honest I'm starting to get lazy giving out my thoughts for every livestream we have about the expansion mechanics. Most of the time my thoughts would be positive regarding the mechanics.
I think to distinguish that it is a regular, non-capital city. Capital cities when taken over I believe still have the star symbol. It makes it easier for a domination, or liberating a city state to some people I guess.
The white circles, star or hand are new icons added in the latest dev build (not available in the preview build). It seems to be an indicator showing capitals, regular cities and free cities.
That's actually somewhat helpful. Especially as we get into more obscure civs like Scotland (sorry guys), the Cree, and Georgia. Who's going to remember what their capital names are? It will be easier to spot them should they get conquered by another civ.
I could see many people trying to liberate Atlanta and give it back to Georgia.
I played that part of the livestream again. I might have missed that because I wasn't paying attention.
Also, stop the presses!! Did Sarah said there's going to be buildings in the neighborhood district?
Separate names with a comma.
