Screen resolution problem, please help...

So I finally purchased BTS, installed it and was hoping to go to town as I have been playing vanilla Civ4 ever since with no problems. However, when I run BTS, the starting screen (the one w/the red roof cathedral) appears fine. Starting from the 2K screen, everything is stretched and I only see about half the screen. The height seems fine, but the width is the problem. I checked the forums here and people have mentioned making adjustments to the .ini file, which I did to no avail. The thing that puzzles me is how come civ4 ran fine, but that I'm having issues with BTS?

I purchased the game yesterday, installed it and the same problem. So I downloaded the patch and that didn't help. Figuring it was a bad CD, I returned the game and got another copy. Same thing.

Here's my computer specs:
GeForce FX5200
Computer monitor is my Samsung HDTV LCD 23" screen
Win XP SP2
HP 2.49 gHz, 768 RAM

Any help is appreciated as I'm really hoping to try out BTS.

So I went to nVidia's website and it turns out they released an updated driver last month (November 6, 2007). If you own a GeForce video card, you may want to check if you need the updated driver (it affects models FX 5100 to 8800). Here's the link:
