Hey, for some reason my screen resolution won't change in the Properties menu... I tried dragging it but it still doesn't move or change at all.

Drivers for a monitor don't exist.
Incorrect. Like every piece of hardware in your pc your monitor needs drivers, else how is the OS supposed to know how to utilise it.

I would recommend updated graphics card drivers as well though.

My monitor doesn't need drivers. I've never installed any for it, and it works just fine. I've never even heard of drivers for a monitor.

Edit: Went to the website for the first monitor manufacturer that came to mind (Viewsonic), and found drivers. Weird. This is the first time I've ever heard of needing drivers for a monitor. Mine doesn't have any. Afaik, none of the monitors my friends have need drivers either.

It's probably using the generic Windows plug and play drivers.

Go to: Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager
then find your monitor in the list and select: Properties > Driver
