if we make a custom track for each civ, there will probly only be room for maximum 5-6 songs for each civ. and i will have to greatly compress their bitrate. this would mean, for the standard 3 v 3 map, 30-36 songs! and that doesnt count the diplo songs and menu songs and war song (+8 more)

36+8=44

44X2.5 megabytes= 110 mb for songs.

then you have to add in the mod. I don't want to break 180 megabytes.

i am also contemplating frequently a second map for the game including the whole world.

Nothing much lately. Just finishing college here - once it's over (end of the year) I'll engage on my own latin american tour through most of the countries, so expect me to report on Second Revolution: SA with firsthand experiences in 2008!

Were you working on BtS???


Also, what exactly do you need about those leaders? Just some names and traits for Cuban and Mexican leaders?

chavez and morales for south america?

if not it could include juarez and cardenas for mexico? lucio cabanas?

ok but i reckon that the main song MUST be el pueblo unido jamas sera vencido, it is the latinamerican revolutionary anthem. if you want i also have a punk style version by banda bassotti which is good.

for the farc style group you should use the farc tunes i suuggested from their website - especially 'un dia de diciembre' with the chorus 'cumbia cumbia cumbia , cumbia bolivariana , cumbia de la unidad latino americana!'
and 'puya antiyanqui' - 'go home go home , de mi patria gringo ladron!'
the others are good too

for the andean indian group you could use anything by inti illimani, neper, illapu, rumillajta, some quilapayun - got the inca vibe on it!

for venezuela 'chavez no se va', 'viva venezuela' maybe some farc tunes especially ones talking of bolivarian revolution, and definately some Ali Primera, his songs are the ones you always hear on venezuela documentaries.

for colombia you could have general cumbia and merengue music 'cumbia del caribe' and 'el ciclon' are good and on the putumayo colombia album which is easy to find

for chile victor jara is a must he is the one killed by pinochet, also quilapayun have 'venceremos', 'companero presidente' is about allende, as is 'a salvador allende' by oscar chavez. violetta parra, inti illimani and illapu are also chile and good

i dunno for brazil! movimento sem terra tune is good though.

for argentina i can only think of mercedes sosa, atahualpa yupanqui, and maybe los fabulosos cadillacs. but i also have some safe maradona songs!

for pampas you can use some argentina songs no?!

anyway these are just suggestions you dont have to lissen to me.
but maybe you should leave out ezln tunes for the other one with mexico in it, and maybe the mejia gody ones which are of nicaragua and the sandinistas.
the rest are all good though and i reckon you should think about them.

TOURISM resource. Should award big trade and some production. To explore it build a RESORT (which would maybe generate pollution or unhappiness?).

resource? why not as a farm, a cottage, a fort, that you can make everywhere? You just will need a road and something...

well, it can be that you can just make this (the name can be "touristic place" or "touristic atraction", can give a lot of money) in city ruins, forests, jungles, rivers withn't flood plains, incense (religious tourism...?) and in all coast. I think it will be cool

(coloque a Serra Gaúcha e a região costeira do Uruguai na lista dos pontos turísticos.)
