(yes, the Sun, I know)

The paintings were created following a survey by Sega, famous for Sonic the Hedgehog and now launching the new strategy game Humankind, whereby over 2,000 Brits voted.

Professor Paul Pettitt, the archaeologist who co-discovered the UK’s only examples of Palaeolithic cave art at Creswell Crags in 2003, worked alongside illustrator Emmy Smith to ensure the unique paintings were as authentic and historically accurate as possible.

Professor Pettitt said: “Ancient humans used cave art for thousands of years to record the most important concerns of their time and I’m thrilled SEGA has used the oldest artistic medium to bring some of modern history’s most iconic moments to life.

Now, that is cool :D.
I'd love to link some pictures, but I'm not sure if I'm really allowed to.
The article of "The Sun" also has a video. Worth a watch :).
