The 'Snarling Dog' :D -- isn't that his nickname? He was cramping before regulation ended but was still going strong at the end of the OTs :goodjob: .

I didn't think it was Matterazzi  , I thought it was another guy--
not sure of his name  , I'll have to check up on the names.

Yeah, but then he would at least have tried. It wouldn't have been his fault if the one ball hits the post, the second the crossbar and then later the third (hypothetically) saved by Lehmann for Italy then to lose on penalties. If he hadn't tried at all and just played for penalties, like Pekerman, that would have been a tactical mistake.

Well I would prefer a Thunny or Salami pizza. Or a Hawaii pizza.

I think it was referring to a Hawaian Pizza, which is a shorter name for Ham and Pineapple pizza.

Yep, it's actually quite good. :)
Don't know if it has anything to do with Italian-style pizza's though. After all the Italian pizzeria where I always go has a Turkish cook.... ;)

No, hawaian pizza has nothing to do with italian pizza.

If you cover it with too much stuff, it's no longer a pizza.
A pizza is good only if the ingredients are good, even without toppings.

Trust the italian cook ;), I could teach you a trick or two to make it on your own at home
