serial number

i just got civ 3 complete and the game is asking me to input a serial number when i open it up. i asked in the technical support forum but since most people there use a pc and don't remember being asked for a serial number i figured i'd ask here. does anyone know where to find the serial number?

Mine is on a white label stuck on the back of the DVD case. It starts with XMOYU- and has four more groups of five alphanumeric characters.

I just got my game in the mail today and it has a little white sticker on the back that just says "see below". Theres no number on it or anything like that. Maybe the ones they are sending out lately forgot to come with serial numbers? If I'm missing something here please reply

It sounds as if you need to contact the supplier. If they can't help, log a problem with Aspyr Support.

i called aspyr technical support. they were really quick. just say that your game didn't come with a serial number and they will e-mail you one.
