I agree, Dale's work is awesome
Instead of integrating Dale's Combat Mod into SevoMod, why not just tweak it a little and make it an optional add-on? That way people who want Dale's mod can download it, and those who what traditional combat can just download SevoMod.
This way everybody's happy!
the sevo mod work with italian language without problems or must install a fresh game in english version??

Thats maybe the best solution, because im sure not everyone likes such drastic changes in the gameplay! But missels are a must have even in the standard Sevomod
I'd like to take a moment and announce the release of an add-on mod I've been working on for Sevomod. This mod basically adds in the missing Civ Gold 2.0 civs, the Byzantine civ by Amra, an additional leader trait (Agricultural), reworked leader trait combinations, and a few other small tweaks. I agree totally, the whole mod should be included but, the optional integrating Dale as an add on would be a good solution.
just make sure it's an add-on compatible with keldaths 5UU+GIR
so we have 4great mods here which must synchronized in Civ Warlords
1) the awesome great and greatest SEVOMOD
2) the Keldaths 5UU
3) the GIR
4) the Dale combat mod
keldath 5UU + GIR we already have as optional sevomod modification...
so only Dale's is left Sevo, you already earned your eternal gratitude in the civ community, integrating this dale mod with yours(as optional) will make you immortal
when exit sevomod for warlords?
e and gir are waiting on sevo warlords, then i will immidiatly begin work,
i already got my 3uu stand alone to go on warlords,
its a pain in the @#$%^ to make all the files copmatible...its a lot of hours of work.... i predict that it will take a month or so to have sevomod and my and girs mod to warlords..
meanwhile i will start an old project -

i dont know if its a bug in sevo or yours,
but the popup test to the uper left screen,
always apear in a delay -
somtimes a turn or so,
like for example -
border expand -
the event already happend , and text apears,
coverting to civic -
somtimes it apears before,
there is sirious desyc .
also the text to the left low screen,
of unit props, get stcked on a unit until you choose the exact one again.
anyway - i got used to it by now... but still...
Hey Kel, you can disable them(as GIR said) or just press ctrl+tab and you will see the msgs of that turn after the msgs of the tech leak hehe

A problem with tech leak
Tech leak to my understanding is related to foreign trade (as the pop-ups say), so how come that with closed borders towards all and mercantilism (no foreign trade) tech leak still happens ?
Is tech leak a must regardless of traid ?
it is inconsistantly yes! i have techleak with 4 out of 17computer opponents.
3of them i have open borders with, so i could follow it up to then..but then when my first tech leaked to the japanese? i just contacted them and never had any agreement with them ! no trade, no open borders, nothing..
still tech leak..why? good question..
I guess they have good spies! that's how i satisfy my thoughts about the leak hahaha

None of the links in the first post work for me. I mean, yes, it started to download, but my Internet link is crappy, and the links don't support resuming.
I don't know how, but perhaps the mod can be transferred using sourceforge? I mean, TotalRealism can (downloading it right now).
PS: Or, PM me with a link that I can access for at least a week. Then you can delete the file when I'm done. That way, your server will not be burdened unnecessarily.
HI. I'm just posting because I would really love to try this mod, however I simply cannot play without Dale's Combat Mod anymore. I saw you were looking for thoughts on whether to add it or not, and I had to register so that I could put in my "aye"

Good work on the mod Sevo... you're beating out Total Realism 2.0 imho at the moment.

here you can DL sevomod new, old versions(dont know why anyone needs them, but i keep them as a reminder to the history of the best mod ever created) keldaths mod is here too as a 352MB package..including Sevo 3.1 + keldath..i recommend anyone using this DL since keldath/gir package is the best add on to sevo

I'd say that there is definitely a problem with leaks at the moment...
No contact with Hatty at all at this stage of the game, yet leaks occurring in both directions on multiple techs.
