I think so, by adjusting my blockade back and forth, it seems they want Ereen. However, WE want that town too. It might be wise to complete the blockade, and they'll go away. It depends on our next players style. A warmonger might relish a war with Greece, a builder might not want the bother.

Speaking of the turn order ... I can play tomorrow night or Friday night, but then I'll be up in Rat42 (keeping me busy for several days). If you can't fit it in tonight, Bowsling, I think I'll need a swap, too

Excellent! Gain 4 cities and a conquest of the Zulu and grow our culture, The next player needs to maximize the capital by adding workers(never slaves) and cutting forests, railing, and mining.

Nice job. I don't think waiting for you would be a big deal Elephantium, we've waited longer before.

*facepalm* That wasn't what I meant by my last post.

That being said, I think I can play soon.

Edit: Does anyone care if I declare war on Greece? :hammer:

As long as it is kosher(rep stays intact), have fun. Just don't completely wipe them out, if we go modern, they can be gifted for tech advancement.

    We have a Leader.

    Option 1: Cav army :hammer:
Option 2: Rush-build Military Academy in Constantinople after the current Wonder ends (either US or ToE, prebuilt by US)

    Thoughts?

Tough call, 1 cpt vs more territory and more cities. As much as it hurts the warmonger in me, I think the Military Academy gives us more. The ability to pre-build wonders in your capital, is by itself, a very good thing. Plus, we can build armies with it as needed.

MM cities a bit. Set slider to 60%; Sci Meth due in 6 @ +45 gpt.

    IBT:

    Madrid: Mkt > Barracks
    Bapedi: Lib > Court
    Isandhlwana: Harbor > Cav

    Our Incense deal runs out.

    Turn 3 (1190 AD):

Buy Gems and Silks from Mongolia in exchange for Medicine. We get their WM, too.
Build some rails, then declare on Greece.

We move troops into their land (near Umfolozi) and capture a Worker.

    IBT:

    Ulundi: Worker > Cannon

    Intombe: Cavs
    Murcia: Cavs

    Turn 5 (1210 AD):

Justinian's Army kills an exposed Greek Knight
Cavs (and one aCav) kill most of an exposed enemy stack.

    IBT:

Lose an exposed Musket and aCav. We kill an enemy MDI before losing though.
    Toledo: Cavs

    Turn 6 (1220 AD):

Lose a Cav and aCav attacking enemy units in the open.
Move to the outskirts of Thermopylae

    IBT:

Greek LB suicides vs. our Musket.
    Madrid: Barracks > Cav
    Barbaropolis: Cavs

    Turn 9 (1250 AD):

    Move troops around.

Sci slider to 70%; Corp due in 4.
I'm going to quit here; we're on Turn 240.

We have a stack ready to siege Athens, but it'll need more Cav support. I figure 2-3 turns of reinforcements should do the trick.

The Leader is in Constantinople, waiting for the current Wonder to complete before rushing MA.
