IIRC, we hit the MA pretty early with Team Klarius, it was the earliest I've ever seen in anything I've played in. The man is just sick in his knowledge and play of this game. The only reason we didn't win was having lower-level players like me goofing the masters' plans up.

Edit: He got Feudalism (and the other 2 first-level techs) in 1200BC via gifting up and trading.
