"I see you are doing a CCW movement to end the army next to Arabia as HC die out, very nice." Glad you like it. What exactly am I doing?

    Go for it.

I had a crash and now restarting. I lost an entire turn worth about 2 hrs.

Here is a picture from the worst Civ4 thing I ever did. I razed this city.

That's Aachen, with all those villages, but is commerce any kind of limiting factor at this point?.

    ^^ Yes it was intentional.

HC is gone, Alex is down to 4 cities and I am messing up like crazy. I had 1 crash and I guess I did not do the same action because it went terribly bad on the restart. I had to put my laptop in the fridge to cool it down. This is what I call intense Civving. :D

T188: Select all cities, Control select Cuirras, go to GtJ and buy Ex1.
IBT: Spy activity against us and we get a GSpy.

T189: Whip a bunch of Cuirra's. Move units. Buy Ex2. Set all cities to grow.
    IBT: Loss a worker.

T190: We capture Florance, lost 1 cat. Raze another city, loss 2 trebs. Started 4 spys. Tracking Alex's stack with our growing stack. We are going to use spys to finish Alex. So use GSpy on Alex.
IBT: lost a Pike and a Spear to 3 Landsnecks.

T191: There was no road on the Galley fort, I think we will be 1 turn behind. No big deal. Raze the Gem of a capital. Weep. HC has 1 city. Next turn war. Nicea has corps and whip.
IBT: Barb archer kill a WE??????

T192: We make a very generous trade to Alex for 110g, DR. Close borders. Check beamings. Kill off HC and DoW Alex. Raze 2 cities and kill many units from its stack.
IBT: Alex was true to his character and attacked.

T193: Alex's Stack is down to 1 HA and 1Xbow. We lost too.
    IBT: crashed/locked up before IBT.

T192: Repeat as best as possible but I think we got screwed. Lost a Cuirr when taking a city. Not sure about others.
IBT: He attacked again. we got screwed.

T193: We lost alot of units. Sorry about that.
IBT: Wow we lost a whole bunch. Back to whip.

T194: Raze a city near Bagdad by spy revolt and catsacrifice. :)
IBT: Lost a bunch of units.

T195: North stack is gone and north arabia is down to 1 city. Alex learn Guild next turn so I destroyed the pasture.
    IBT: Nothing.

T196: Crap...he can build Camel Archers without horses.
    IBT: Espy.

T197: More of the same. I got messed up with the Exec build. We are going to be off by a turn. Raze another city.
IBT: Alex killed a ew units.

T198: Lost a few units and razed another city.
    IBT: Zzz

T199: I am messing up so time to stop for the night.

    Keep up the good work!

Got a long extension cord, I hear playing civ in the moonlight in the back yard can help keep your laptop cool?
As long as it isn't raining...

    Ha ha...funny.

You know exactly what you do as a monger. You had the army set up to end up near Arabia to go after him. I sort of screwed up the movement by taking a city in between when the chance popped. But all is well.

Ok I will take it easy and continue.

    Playing....

What? Civing under the moon light?.....Never heard of it until now. :p

You can see the screen better and also you do not disturb your family when your aggressive spirit moves you to bay at the moon. :shifty:

Good luck and happy hunting. :hammer:

T199: Cont. No attacking, but pillaging and building Execs. unit movements.
    IBT: Zzz

T200: Unit movement and pillaging. 8 more exec total left.
    IBT: Alex killed a unit.

T201: We know rifle and starting steel. Razed alex's north coal city and planted our own.
    IBT: Zzz

T202: Alex is down to 1 city. 4 more cities to spread, all but 1 Exec is there.

T203: Alex let a barb city pop up. He is not co-operating with our planns.

T204: What a mess, the barb city is on the SW tile of the map. Can not take the last city yet. A decent size army is

    around Alex's last city.
    IBT: Zzz

T205: Ok....I have not done a conquest in a while. I just took the last AI city. I did not get a conquest window. Did I mess some thing up? Can someone check this save?

Yup, that is exactly what happened.

I submitted and we have completed the game on the last day as usual. I think I grew older by 1 day since yesterday.

My son do not think I am funny. A man can dream can he not? ;)

Here are the only relevant pictures for this game.
One delayed the game by 1 turn and the other confirm Corps requirement.

    :thanx: for knocking that out.

    :goodjob:

edit - shows our excellent planning skills, finishing on the last day.
Not sure why we finished in the afternoon though, seems we could have waited until 10:00 PM Central or so? :mischief:

Good job getting it done XTeam. I was successfully lurking most of the time...

Now to see in the next few days where in the list of other teams XTeam finishes up...

Good job finishing gents. Htadus, what a trooper :goodjob:! Sorry I couldn't help at the end.

Very frustrating that we missed the pre-founded corp. I felt like we had a great early game, our best start in many SGOTMs. But that one miss had to cost us big :(. I doubt I ever would have noticed because I am so paranoid about misclicking in the real game that I minimize my time in it. I bet I was never on the corp screen in the real game even though I did a lot of research on the corps and tech paths early on. I would have been exclusively in a test game. Heck, I won't even go in the real game to open the Civilopedia.

Yeah, hawk. I agree the game would have had a different dimensions had we realized the particular condition. I wish that I was more curious and did not dismiss the whole thing when we noticed it originally. Oh well.
