Turnset Report - T0 to T12

T0:
SIP (x=27 and y=14), build worker, research AH.
Warriors move. Nothing new exposed.

T1:
SWar goes 1S (after going 1SW on T0) and sees Saladin's scout at Rome-5S1W (2S1E of where SWar is now standing). That means that SWar has to go south and check it out, right?
Set EP weight of 1 to Saladin.
1000 words...

Note: the reason that NWar and WWar are so close together right now is that NWar is going to make a big loop clockwise and WWar is going to head to the coast to cover for SWar, who is going south to check out Saladin. I wanted to have both NWar and WWar go to hills just in case they could spot something in the distance...

T2:
Saladin's scout disappeared IBT. SWar went 1SE and found that his scout went 1E.
EWar found the coast, dry plains corn :vomit: and another wine.

T3:
SWar found a tundra/hill/forest/gem tile.

T4:
WWar finds magical fish and another wine.

T5:
Hannibal comes out of the fog and greets our ambassador, SWar. Isn't Hannibal a better trading partner? Should I set espionage on him now?
OMG, I just moved Mr. Ambassador and he runs into Brennus. All three AI that we've met so far are in the south!!!
NWar finds some jungled elephants way north (8N2W of Rome) in a massive jungle.
More pictures. Any preferences on scouting directions?

T6:
IBT, we meet Darius' scout!! I smell a rat and his initials are BSP!!! ;)

T7:
We see our first barb, a lion, east of the capital. We'll have to be a bit more careful when scouting now.
SWar looks like he's hit a dead end. Do we want to scout EVERYTHING down there while he's in the area or can he had back home? Since we're limited on the number of cities we can settle in this game, I can't see us settling a city down here away from the AI. Picture coming soon.

T8:
Surprise, surprise. Out of the fog in the south comes Zara's scout. We have now met 5 of our 6 opponents.
Then, I move SWar and find Giggles. That's all 6 opponents!!

T9:
Nothing

T10:
Hinduism was FIADL.
We find stone paired with a magical fish in the DEEP south.

T11:
Buddhism was FIADL.
Saladin converts to Hinduism.
Still no AI culture.

T12:
AH in, set research to The Wheel as a place holder.
Horses to the east paired with the dry plains corn, wine and/or crabs depending on where we settle.
Save will be uploaded shortly.

I'll wait a bit to see if anyone thinks we should ignore Saladin and have SWar explore west or push SWar further south.

By the way, our capital is at x=27 and y=14. Do we know the dimensions of the map?

Standard Pangaea is 64x40.

I agree. SWar towards Saladin. WWar SW to scout the coast and look for seafood.

OK, we've met 3 AI (Saladin on T1, Hannibal IBT T4 and T5 and Brennus on T5) and they've all come from the south. Any bets on having a huge northern area with no AI and TONS of barbs?

EDIT: Or did BSP just give the AI random scouts in the south to throw us off?

I don't think anyone will be a good trading partner this game (No Tech Trading), but Hannibal is probably the better techer. So EP on him for now.

Check the pictures on T5. I was planning on:

WWar (along coast) heads NW/N to defog the path outside of NWar.
NWar heads SE a ways to defog and then heads NE then NW.
EWar heads N until he almost meets up with NWar then starts heading NE/E.

Right. I guess knowing where Hannibal is headed tech wise will help us when we eventually steal from him. I'll change EPs to him unless I hear otherwise.

I can so your t1 screenshot, but not those from t5. I even tried another browser.

Something's wrong with the second two image saves on the CIV side. Either you ran out of space or you need to reload them or something like that.

You can use this:

http://imgur.com/

on the top of the page is a button UPLOAD IMAGES. Click it, then drag&drop your image somewhere on the screen and then post the link you get here. That's the easiest way to do it.

Just in case you don't know how to do this. Sorry if you did and this was useless.
