SGOTM 22 - Anti-TSR

If our units teleport, they still get to heal.
Right. I somehow thought they would teleport to Nibru, but they will teleport towards Mecca. I suppose we can still attack Baghdad or Tolosa without too much delay (probably without delay).

Sheesh. CG1 rifle against our cuirs is 14*2.05=28.7, right? (no fortification bonus after upgrading) How many Cuirs will we lose trying to kill him?

Brennus won't offer Camu, as he has too much gold and gpt. Do we give away HC and hope we can get Camu from Brennus when we ask for it without all the gold? Will the power loss from giving away HC be a problem?

Our power ratio with Brennus is 2.7561

I'm showing WePay/HePays: 220/6680, so we should easily get Camulo. Is Camulo still pop14?

Do we threaten his cities with more units than he threatens ours (within 2 tiles of city center)?

Okay, I have to step out. I'm game for giving it a try. Why did you list giving HC to Darius instead of Hannibal? Darius is running Slavery, Hanni won't be (knock on wood). Darius hasn't captured empty HaGift, why would he take HC? DO we care?

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Camu is pop14.

Brennus has Caravels in Nibru's bfc. I don't think those count. We'd have to move a galley back into Tolosa's bfc if naval units can threaten cities.

Edit: I moved a cuir to threaten Camu. Now we definitely are threatening more cities than Brennus.

We can give it to Hanni, if that's better. At first I thought Darius could trade the corn, but he won't trade health resources while annoyed.

I think I stop for the night. Give others a chance to veto the HC gift.

no upload? i was hoping to find a couple extra kills or something to swing the camulo gift.

I was going to be very surprised if this worked, but I thought LC had it all calculated. Got my hopes up.

The calcs still show it working by quite a margin. Is it the cash? We'll see what ZPV says.

If there's doubt about Camulo and we still gift HC to Hanni, then we can capture it right back. Or maybe keep Carthage instead, although taht would take 11t to come out of resistance.

Nope, I missed a +50% in the calculation for the city value.
We don't have enough war success for the trade. :(

Bummer.

On the bright side, that means that we (probably) don't ever need to move 22 units into Rome for HC re-capture.

Save is uploaded.

Now that we won't sign a peace treaty with Brennus, we have to decide how to deal with Zara/Sal. Do we want declare on Zara on t211 or t212 and fight Hanni, Brennus and Sal at the same time? I don't think we have the units to take down Sal quickly, without slowing down our war with Hanni. The cuirs near Damascus would probably have to remain in in the Damascus area instead of joining the Hanni war.

With our BrEast units teleporting towards Mecca, we can only attack Tolosa with 14 units (5 cannons, 3 grens, 6 cuirs). 3 Cuirs could either remain in the Mecca area for a war against Sal, or teleport towards Nibru to join the Vienne attack.

I'm trying to understand your Brennus Plan more precisely.
A Brennus attack (no DoP) could look like this:

DoW t216

BrEast units: Tolosa attack DoW+1, then Verlamion ->Bibracte (t225?)
- 7 galleys
- 2-3 grens (2 CR3, maybe 1 upgraded C1CR2 praet?)
- 5 cannons (all accuracy)
- 6-7 Cuirs (2-3 more join after Tolosa attack)

main stack: Camu DoW+3 -> Verlamion/Vienne
- 7 cannons (1 FC, 2 Rome, 3 Bovino, 1 HC)
- 15-20 Cuirs
- 0-7 grens from Nibru (How many do we need for Carthage?)
- some praets, muskets for cleanup

mini stack from Nibru: keeps Brennus from settling cities, joins for Vienne or Bibracte attack as needed

Carthage stack: lands near Vienne t221??? (Galley movement back to Gilga's islands could be a bottleneck, especially if some galleys die)

DoW Gilga t225 or t226

Seems a bit slower than LC's DoP plan. Micro this turn should be mostly compatible, exept for the BrEast units. They would have to heal 1 turn before they jump back on the galleys. Sal+Zara attack date in the DoP plan would be t212 assuming we want to attack Baghdad on DoW+1.
I get the updated Tolosa details. As I understand it, our main stack (24-40 units) moves by land to Camulo, attacks on T219, then moves onward, probably to Vienne, joined there by some reinforcements from Carthage. Correct?

Correct.

We should also have some 11+ units join the Vienne attack from the north.

We only have 2 accuracy cannons for Carthage. That means we may need 2 turns to bombard it to 0%. That would mean they'd land near Vienne on t222. Unless... I swap 3 of the cannons with 2 or 3 fresh ones from Bovino and Rome.
