    Finally had a chance to look at the save, should have a bit more time this week to contribute.

    Definitely move units into position this turn and declare next.

    I think the riverside jungles at WorkerGraveyard can be cottaged. Around Gordium and Bactra and probably in between and south there seems to be quite some tundra forest that can serve for extra preserves should we need them. These tiles better not be chopped in any case or the remaining tile is even more awful.

    There is marble 4S2W from St Petersburg. Currently in Russian culture, it must be from an undiscovered city down there, as StPete doesn't reach that far culturally. As we'll attack Russia after Darius' demise, it would be nice to get that marble asap. I would consider settling on it for quicker connection (if necessary), so we might want to prepare a settler from somewhere. With 2 crabs next door quite okay.

    We should get to the Indians asap to open up TR connections. Might even consider an extra caravel or galleon from PovP or Eyeland for that sole purpose. Or 2 pop whip caravel from WorkerGraveyard asap.

    I don't think in PovP a library has much uses, so I'd build the courthouse in anticipation of a palace move, or first that galleon.

    Would support palace move to Persepolis. When we have marble, I'd consider Porkchop or Fishy for the National Epic. Moscow might be a candidate for HE, it's quite strong on hammers.

    I haven't looked at the save, and wouldn't be able to do so until tomrrow night (24hrs), if there are answers to the questions in dh's PPP, then I could play to Paper. But if the PPP is set, I do not feel bad if someone else takes it. Probably Chris would need some time to get used to the save, too. If Ronnie has the answers, let him run with it (green).

    Finally looking at the save! We are nice and strong! I can play if no one else is able.

    Definitely want to get a caravel and access the Indian continent for trade routes, Eye Land can build one in 2 turns or WG can 2 pop whip it. WG is a little closer so opens the routes a bit sooner.

    Not super excited about a Palace move at this point. Pasargadae has the most cottage potential, Persepolis could get it up much quicker. Neither are ready right now imo. I would like to see a forge in Persepolis before the barracks completes, Pasa is no where even close. Persepolis is probably the better overall choice but I think it is a few builds away.

    Any extra worker turns can go into Persepolis by the way, it is going to grow very quickly.

    We want to position our attacking forces appropriately as has been noted.

    The Dog in WG needs to protect the workers for the final dye imo. I kind of want to leave him there in case the barb archers try to pillage.

    Settling on the marble with the crabs might be the best option. Hopefully Stalin's city will be well positioned and we just get to keep it! Our HA down there can answer that for us this turn maybe.

    If I were going to play, some city builds would be a little different from the PPP as posted. More troops from Stoned being primary the difference as it's infra is intact and we can keep it a small and consistent troop producer forever. PoP needs CH or settler + escort for Long Island and the whales. If we kill the barb city on LI and plant one on the far end we will have our own source of incense also. It may be beneficial if we decide to take out Bismark and lose access to his for a time.

    Moscow looks like a good place for the HE once we have marble. ;)

    NE is an interesting question. Cahokia, once all the preserves are up would be a monster!

    We could probably just beg for Bismark's gold! :)

    Good ideas, Ronnie! Happy for you to merge them into the PPP. ;)

    I totally forgot about the national park, Cahokia with NP and NE could indeed spew out an enormous amount of great people to bulb our way through physics, electricity and radio (although should look at the preference chart closely to see how that works out). I think we should aim to lib biology. By the way, NP + Oxford looks interesting too, but probably better to put Oxford in a good bureau cap as we can't have all three in the same city. Indeed the palace move isn't very urgent yet, but Persepolis looks good to me none the less. Observatories would make sense at least in Cahokia and Persepolis in that case. Also not yet urgent, but if nothing else urgent then we can start on them there. If not in caste it also gives an extra scientist slot.

    Agree to keep dog at WG to protect tiles.

    Played 3 turns, according to plan except I forgot to beg gold from Bismark on opening the save. The next turn he suddenly had 150g so I got that + his map for Optics. Begged gold off both Indian leaders at that point as well and was able to get Paper in 2 turns. I played 1 more so I could take Susa! ;)

    Not a lot of time right now, but we took both cities and have units moving up. Engineering would have made a huge difference. :(

    Stalin has a city on the marble that we can keep when we get to it! :)

    The last civ is Japan! We haven't met yet but I got a map from Asoka and we can see Toku stuck in the middle of the two India's.

    I'd probably drop some specs in some cities in order to grow a bit, like Cahokia for instance. While on settler PovP could work the mine. Otherwise not much to add, good luck going forward. :)
