Maybe a 2nd bomb is coming, but if not it should take them longer to get culture built up. Assuming they don't have a spy hoard.

I'd be a little surprised if they came up with the same dirty trick as I did. I would expect they're doing a more traditional EP-culture approach. One GArt and ~4-5 Great Spies. Maybe run the EP slider and ignore tech. Can't wait to find out soon.

We can 1 pop whip Glib in Yemen and 2 pop whip MoM in Shanghai on T73. Complete on T74.

 

Settle in Shangai is good for teching.

Or give the Korea attackers amphibious.

Or boost the Mumbai stack for a real attack.

Or make a 3 Horse Archer killing machine and run somewhere.

All are decent.

 

Globe is probably 2 pop whip in the end or we whip something else earlier and overflow into Globe. What can Yanan whip with its boni?

 

I purposely roaded that incense way back on my last turnset. I suppose now that we have calendar it wouldn't hurt to do the plantation.
Of course we lose it when we gift goldcity for more than 1 turn.

 

Whipping Globe actually isn't bad at all.
It is one of the few wonders that whips nicely without too much penalty.

It's been 5 turns since Church was put in caste. I think CF T67 is a good idea. We need it next turn or the turn after for the 4 city gifts.

 

I changed my mind. I don't want to do Churchill's 4 cities yet. I don't want to be at war with him until T73. I don't want him to take slavery and I don't want more redcoats.
We won't be able to cap him early because too many wimpy AI are still alive.

 

It feels like using NewYork for warsuccess with Korea is a bad idea. We should be able to find other options. If that city flipped to England we wouldn't get Korea to talk. What are the rules? doesn't the city have to revolt once due to culture pressure and then next time it revolts it could flip? Or is something else preventing a flip? I think Korea won't just willingly give it away.

 

What if I can get the GG attached to our sword and share 20 xp with 2 maces?

The sword would get free upgrade to Mace and be 17xp (C1+CRIII). Maces would both be CRII.
Question is: what can I expect to accomplish with these? Let's see if I can even attack Mumbai T73...
Yes, I have a galley chain set up to make the upgrade T69 already. Could hit Mumbai as early as T71

Or, share xp with 4 units. We'd have 3 CRII's and the GGmace would be CRIII (no C1)

Colossus: I think using 4 this way is wasteful worker actions, and then all they can do is move T69, chop T70, HA moves T71 but it can't get anywhere interesting.
2 workers can chop for T69. Unfortunately, I whipped already. Lost a couple hammers there.

further study: yea, we want 5 workers to chop 5 forests T69. 2 for colossus and 3 for 2HAs that move T70 and T71.

 

It comes naturally T72 and give failgold also on T72.
Or we can whip it early. I think we won't need to whip. We can spend the gold researching 72 or 73 if we need to. We shouldn't.
We might trigger the payout early by whipping so we can upgrade units or something.

I wasn't able to get Incans to OB because we were Worst Enemy. A tech gift for +4 makes the AI Cautious, but WE doesn't wear off.
The only negatives we had were 'close borders'. Did we make a big blunder here? Couldn't we find some more out-of-the-way cities to make a colony? Then quite a few more AI will OB. It's not too late to try to adjust the next one. Or certainly the one after that. But we kinda have our units in place. Suggestions for a new set of cities?

Or does it not matter? How do we get the OB discount?
