We plan to push out enough units out of Beijing and Yan for a Barrack to be a reasonable choice. The gain from a forge are to far in the future. A library would be better in yan if we choose the economy approach there now but with the horse instead of cottage we planning for a warproduction now.

Specialize the cities or die. We have a production, a commerce/sci, and a GP farm established. The city we will make lots of units needs barracks. other 2 cities don't--- they need library and such. But it is a rush we are talking about, so only 1 barraks is max for now, and very useful with first strikes on CKN's.. It should get stables as well, when the time comes. Forge should come in Prod city AFTER we get the first attack stack marching. But I do suck at Deity, so if my philosophy is bad, let em know and I learn.

Not much really on T10, 11, 12. Followed the PPP.
T13 - Bismark hooks up Copper.
Toko still hasn't hooked up iron.

Found Paris and London. Unquestionably an earth-like game... but where is America?

Toko's only metals are the ones close to us. His southern island looks pretty weak.

Great play! Now I need some down time to look at it in detail, but right now it looks like we are on goal. (Are we on the right goals... that is the most common form of failure.. setting the right goals... but better to hit what you are aiming for than not)

BTW... it would be nice (not necessary but nice) to set it to show resources and the grid before screenshots... makes it easier for people like me.:stupid:

I have full confidence we couldn't be in better hands than Folket when it comes to making an army (and Mayhem!) :trouble:

On the weekend I can get time to look at the save and make annoying comments. Right now, just consider me Green if at least two others approve the plan.

"In order to give you plenty of time to complete this game, the completion deadline will be April 30th. Plan your game, and please avoid a last minute struggle to meet the deadline.
Please be warned, except in the event of cosmic catastrophes. THERE WILL BE NO DEADLINE EXTENSIONS."

I would say we are good. April is almost an eternity away. Man... all the snow here will be gone. Or at least most of it if we are lucky. Maybe. At least the daylight hours will be increasing. What I am saying is that at the moment we should not stress ourselves.

we do not have a "got it" announcement yet, so in the order we have, with 24hr for the active player to make some kinda indication being missed, you are up.

Hi, FOLKET is up and we are awaiting a suggestion on a PPP for the next turnset. A general guideline is that if the active player (you in this case) does not give some sign as to whether they are available to play the next set or not within a day or two of the end of the last turn set, the "on-deck" player can take up the active role.

Note, we should all be conversating about what comes next, and longterm strategy and so on... but we tend to get those discussions going better when we have some kind of PPP proposal to discuss.

So.... Folket... can you take the next set, and if so... when do you think you will have a sketch of a plan for us to discuss? If the answer is no or if there is no answer from Folket in 24hrs, we'll move down the list. And if we are really stuck for active players, anyone can volunteer. I think we are nearly at that point. I've been traveling a bit.... maybe towards the end of the week if nobody steps up, I'll volunteer myself.

I have started to look into the game now.

What is the latest test game? A quick scan in the thread did not locate it.

Did anyone run a test with Chukonus?

    My suggestion is still.

Attack America around turn 25. Attack Germany 3 turns later. Attack Both France and Japan after that. Go from Manchuria to Mongolia and from Tsingtao to the islands. Own all of china turn 40.

    here's a preliminary Turnset 16-20 PPP.

    Bomber:
Bomber moves to London, scouts west.
Then scouts somewhere else. Priority to finding America.

    Spy
    No idea really

    Guangzhou
    Build worker.
worker finishes farm and build watermill on silk.

    Yanan
Builds choko until size 4 and then whips a worker.
    worker will improve horse.

    Beijing
    Grows while building a choko.
worker will improve E elephant with a water mill.
