Long range kamikaze drones have grown to be an important strategic bombing weapon in modern warfare. Even superpowers with heavy strategic bombers employ them to strike enemy airfields, supply dumps, warehouses, powerplants, factories and refineries far behind the front line. Being cheap and disposable, they can help probe and even overwhelm enemy air defenses with sheer numbers.
These drones unlike short range FPV loitering munitions, do not do very well vs moving targets. They're pre programmed to fly to their designated stationary target and crash into it. Unfortunately, in civ3, cruise missile units will always target units first. Only when all units have been destroyed do they target city improvements. And using precision strikes on cruise missile units means they won't die after use. Maybe Flinlock can change that.
This is a copy and paste job from a free Pixelsquid model. I used Vuldacon's parts. I also slightly modified Vuldacon's explosion to make it airburst and spray fragmentation/pellets. The airburst is high up enough that it can be used for any flying unit to turn it into a kamikaze drone without having a dedicated attack animation. The Searcher drone is a good candidate.
