hey the shogun doe not have citys in it at the start.

I love the Sengoku conquest, the unit tree is really lovely. My main concern is to make the difference between two players.

Nope!

Agreed. One of my personal faves so far as well, but trying to find out who is at war with who is ridiculously tedious. Not that its easy on any Civ3 version epic game with more than 8 civs (what an absurd concept in user interface design - I can't believe that that F4 screen hasn't changed in 3 versions) but with the Sengoku icons in the diplo screen being one color when not clicked and another when clicked, its just impossible.

And the upgradeable Daimyo is brilliant!

I finished it yesterday, on regent, mornal agressivity. The AI were incredibly passive, except for the Mori who attacked one of my defenceless city. I was longing for a real era of the warrior ::sighs:: I guess i'll have to complete in in emperor. :)

PS: oops i forgot the upgradable part of the daimyo, that's sweet. That really push you to attack with him, aren't some Daimyo right into the battle :D.

I was amazed to see the AI occasionally upgrading their Daimyo- they just have to have enough cash, and AI players usually have 0 gold when I play, for some reason.

I totally agree with Oddible's comments... personally, I had no idea who anyone except my closest neighbours were when the whole map was revealed. Why can't we just left click on a city and be told who owns it, like in Civ 2? Argh!

I think there is an option that shows the name of the owner of each city. My guess is that it's called "color blind help", but I really can't check this for several hours.

Awesome conq, probably my fav.

I went straight for Feudilism and pick up most of the Tech from huts. I built almost every wonder. and then went straight to Ninjas, and then took out most of the daimyo of most civs. But you should have to declare war to do so... I was awesome. I built six workers then stole the rest from neighbors, and most of the time I was deep in their territory so after I captured the worker they told me to get him out of their territory. HA HA HA

That reminds me of my only complaint- the limited government types.

they said it is the closest one to the epic game.

Well it clearly has the most victory conditions, units, sides and structures. The tech tree is also pretty intense and I believe the maximum number of turns is 540 like the epic game, but I am sure its at least 500.

All in all the most creative and original conquest. The Japanese music is also a nice touch.
