I probably should be saving more for the incoming recessions but I found a good deal on a dell laptop. My wife has been asking for one for a while. Right now she uses my gaming desktop for all her internet and word processing stuff and borrows my daughter's school laptop for family zoom meetings since it has a web cam. That laptop is also a reeeealy entry level one, it's a lenovo 130 something series- AMD a6 chip (dual core), only 4gb ram, regular hard drive.

I like the lenovo brand for the money but on the $350 15 inch one the reviews had a lot of complaint about the web cam. So I got her a dell for $50 more, i3 chip, a 128gb ssd for OS with a 1tb hd for storage, 8gb ram. Should be really fast for what she wants to do.

The first thing I would do is buy a bigger SSD. But that's just me...

And I'm not sure you need bigger than 128 GB for the SSD anyways when you have an extra 1 TB in HDD space and she doesn't do anything except save Word documents and maybe images.

70% of my SSD (around ~250 GB) is taken up by games. If someone doesn't play games probably doesn't need such a big SSD.

We bought a buncha plumbing stuff.

3 of our 5 bathrooms were having problems. Our local plumber was able to fix 2, but needs stuff for the 3rd. The girls are also demanding we replace our leaky kitchen faucet with one that has two outlets. :trouble:

Five bathrooms when you run off rainwater sounds like a bad combo.

I bought some more custom lighting for my car. Should be here in a couple of days, and I'll try to install next week.

No. It's an addition to the daytime running lights in the front. I changed out the stock headlights for LED lights, but this made the DRLs not work correctly. So I changed them. But what I changed them to wasn't very bright. What I'm doing now adds to that.

    I hope.

There is a metric buttload of stuff we need or want that we've been putting off buying while I was working part time. Now that I'm full time, we can get them but everything is shut down.

Off the top of my head, I really need new glasses, a new chair and a new couch. I have decided to cancel my prime subscription when this is over and the regular shops open back up though.

As winter coats are in dearth right now in the Northern Hemisphere (I like to prepare ahead of time, I guess) ...I've been buying commissioned art.

Bringing my OCs to life is...enjoyable.

That is a fantastic game! Let me give you two tips though: The first is play on the easiest difficulty. Because the only difference between the easy and the normal difficulty is how much you have to grind. Neither is timed, so the extra difficulty of normal just means you need to run more grindy side missions to proceed in the game. It's not harder, it just takes longer to do. Difficult is a whole different animal cus you are now timed.

Other tip is if you bought the red expansion or whatever I wouldn't turn it on for your first playthrough because it makes the game considerably more complicated, but if you're fine with that go for it.
